why so scared? :

LaRu stood perfectly still, his fur spiked up like a cat does when scared. The figure he saw stood there, amidst in his presence. The cupcake sized kit approached, small canines barred. The closer LaRu got, the more the figure before him seemed to fade, and once he got too close, it had completely faded from existence. But he still sensed it.

A small sound echoed behind LaRu, and he whirled around, to find that a door had opened on its own. Cautiously, he padded forward, his small paws allowing him to approach quietly. Just as he stepped inside, the door slammed shut behind him, nearly chopping off his precious gummi tail.

Their the figure stood again, LaRu's mouth agape with horror. LaRu could stand no more, and so he opened the door and ran. It seemed no matter how fast he ran, however, the figure was able to keep up.

For years this went on, and it seemed their was nothing LaRu could do to get the mysterious figure to leave him alone. Eventually they did learn to co-exist, but the figure still terrified LaRu, and everytime he saw it he squealed and ran.

Washee is afraid of everything, and he is ok with that. Small noises make him jump, shadows cause shivers, and do not show him a horror movie. But Washee considers this a good thing. He knows how to overcome his fear, and much of the time it quickly melts into nerves. His fear stops him from making bad choices, and he is pretty glad about that, to be honest. Many of his friends will run headon into bad situations, but Washee's fear makes him stop and think twice before doing something. Many times it has hindered him from doing fun things, but equally as many it has stopped him from doing something terrible. Washee works with his fear, and doesn't allow it to consume him. When he thinks he is becoming too scared of something that he wants to do, he attempts to slowly work through it. One of the recent examples would be an amusement park. His friends all love rollar coasters, but Washee is afraid of heights. However, he went on small coasters first and slowly worked his way up to the bigger ones. He still doesn't like rollar coasters (or hieghts, for that matter), but is proud of himself for riding them.
