everyone is just waking up the day after the gathering, and puddlestar asked greywing to organize a few patrols. eveningleaf is out collecting herbs, just walking back to camp now. at the gathering a rogue came in and threatened cloverclan, so an extra cat was placed on guard last night. feel free to jump in wherever n.n

Greywing nodded towards Puddlestars wishes and turned her head, surveying the camp. "Nightwing, please come over here. Vipereye, you still look tense, would you mind going on a patrol?" Let's see...Who else... How about a few apprentices? "Pinepaw! Come, you're going on a patrol with me!" Is that enough? I don't want to many cats going out, especially if it's getting cold.

Puddlestar padded out of his den, looking around camp, he spotted Greywing, and bounded over. "Could you organize morning patrols, please? Thank you." Greywing was still a new deputy, so he would help her start off her duties for the few couple days. Puddlestar mewed a cheerful greeting to each of his clanmates that pass by.

Eveningleaf had collected a good amount of herbs for it being leafbare. She finished wrapping a pawful of cob nuts in a beech leaf, then picked up her pile of herbs and started carrying them back to camp. I can teach Echopaw about cob nuts later today, if she wants. Or Foxglove seeds. Hmm, both sounds good. But... where is my apprentice?

Cootrunner yawns, her jaws stretching like a balloon. She glances at the sky sleepily. "If you need a place to sleep, there's a few empty nests in the elders and warriors dens. Also I'm sure Even-" another yawn interrupted her words. "-ingleaf would let you sleep in her den. Wake me for noon patrol, please?" With that, she padded back into the warriors den and flopped on her nest.

Pinepaw's ears perk towards Greywing's call. "Coming, Greywing!" She lept out of her nest and padded into the clearing, waiting for the rest of the patrol to arrive. I wonder if it's a hunting patrol or a border patrol? Oo, or both?

Bumble frowned slightly. "I'm sorry to hear about that..." She mewed, trailing off, unsure of what to say to the she-cat. "Did he die or just disappear?" She mewed. "I kinda wish I knew how my father was doing, he should be an elder by now..."

Rustpaw chuckled slightly. "I still like playing in the snow too." He mewed. "My mother gets mad when I do though. She thinks I should be more mature." He mewed, looking at Vixenpaw for a moment before to his paws. He scooped up some of the snow in his paw and flicked it at Vixenpaw.

The orange tom stuck his tongue out at her before jumping to his paws, flinging a tiny bit more of snow at her and hopping away.

Soaringbird sat outside of the nursery, watching Cricketkit chase after the tail of Eelmuzzle. The old black tom was laying outside of the elders den, his graying muzzle rested on his paws as he stared off into space, flicking his tail back and forth so Cricketkit wouldn't catch it. Flamingkit was lounging next to Soaringbird, her muzzle tucked under her flame-red tail.

LightFlower sighed. "unfortunately, we found him under a large tree. It had fallen - they think a sign from starclan - and had sent him to join their ranks." she smiled. "if your father was anything like mine, he should be okay. "

 The tom laughed and sighed happily. "They are so full of energy aren't they?" He purred to his mate as he licked her muzzle.

"I'm sorry about your mate..." Bumble mewed again. "Why did you leave your clan though? Wouldn't it have been safer to stay with them since you're having kits?"

Rustpaw sputtered slightly when Vixenpaw flicked the snow in his face, shaking his head wildly to get it off. He let out a squeak when he felt Vixenpaw pounce on him, pinning him in the snow. "I wasn't ready!" He laughed, looking up at her. "I was blinded by snow."

Soaringbird purred and nodded, resting her head against Brackenlake's shoulder. "Cricketkit has way too much energy for her own good. Her mentor is going to have a hard time once she becomes an apprentice."

The white queen brushed her bushy tail gently against Flamingkit's back. "Whoever gets Flamingkit as an apprentice is going to have a hard time getting her out of her nest in the mornings." She chuckled.
