i ship it, but kind of in an AU way. like, i know that jenna means so so much to tyler and i would never ever want anything to happen to break them up because honestly i ship them p hard too. so, like, i ship it but i don't want it to happen because right now they're both happy and satisfied with where they are in life, and i would never want anything to change that. really, i mostly ship it as a brotp. like they have such a beautiful friendship and that's rlly cool.
and really i ship debby and josh harder than anything and i feel so bad for them because that was a really hard situation but that's an entirely different topic
also people need to chILL about it like shipping celebrities aggressively is so dumb because they are REAL PEOPLE WITH REAL LIVES AND YOU NEED TO RESPECT THAT SMH

talking about the members of the clique who attack other members for shipping joshler, or whatever other reasons they might give for being rude to someone, honestly the clique needs to calm down. they aren't hurting you. they aren't hurting anyone, or doing anything that is that problematic. just take a deep breath and stop being so dramatic, my frens. in the grand scheme of things, it matters not who other people ship or don't ship or support or don't support. it matters not.

also, this though. >.>' and the stuff with the show getting canceled because tyler was clamoring at life-threatening heights?? like what is going on, why does he need to climb? if you're performing in someone's venue you need to treat those people with respect and like...just...why. and i've seen a lot of people bashin bbc and i just. sighs.

i wasn't there, so i don't know all of the details. bbc talks a little bit more about it here.

i feel as if i understand a lot of tyler's creative outlets as well. the strange energy he utilizes to create amazing performances are definitely something to be appreciated. so i definitely agree with you there! however. when it becomes a safety hazard? i believe several venues have already made him sign contracts saying he won't climb because it endangers his life (and i believe the venue would be responsible for his injuries?) i really hope that canceling the rest of their set was at least a wake up call? because that just shoves in tyler's face how is actions really do affect his fans? he got his own set canceled because he did not respect the venue that was allowing him to play there. as creative as you are, being respectful and acknowledging your limits is an important thing.

a tech (which i can't find the article where this is actually all stated rn i'm sorry ) said that he climbed to a height that not even a trained technician would go to without a safety harness and proper equipment. just imagine how traumatizing it would be to see tyler fall from that height?? if they had to cancel the show for a different reason? like i really don't want to see him get hurt, but this consistent behavior from him has really made me look at him differently. as popular as they are, and with how many people they have inspired, they are role models now for a lot of people. especially younger people. acting like this...it's like...i dunno. :T i know he has his reasons for doing so, but i'm sure he could find a different way??

fair enough. i personally don't see how it could be problematic for fans, but i do understand venue concerns as the band would be able to lobby against them if tyler did get hurt. i doubt they'd do it (or win if they did) but from a buisness's point of view it makes sense. and while i do definitely agree that tyler should ahve been respecting the venue, for sure, i also think this is a situation where they need to compromise. maybe he can't climb the way he's used to doing in the past. but i know they did a show where he climbed a ladder onstage instead cause the venue wouldn't let him climb the rigging. at my show, he was able to go inside a building and exit from the stairs to the roof. maybe they could find a safer way to do it? i would just hate to see one of the things that makes them who they are stop permanently.

oh yes, i definitely agree with you. approaching it like a compromise would be wonderful! and mature. and i don't doubt that there aren't a ton of other issues and conversations that the media can't get ahold of - i completely acknowledge that my knowledge is limited. i just really would hate for him to actually get hurt. it only takes one freak accident, y'know? creating a way to make the performance safe and whatnot, that all sounds so good and i hope they get to that point.

Personally, I don't ship josh let as I feel that they wouldn't make a good couple and I don't really feel the connection as I do with frerard or peterick. I see it more as a bromance tbh. I don't hate the ship as I do hate petekey but I don't really ship it myself.

Edit; on the situation with the show cancellation. He did sign a contract saying he wouldn't climb. Tf he has got to respect the venue and although it was kinda rude to cancel the set, he was asking for it. It endangers his life and performing, he does get hot and sweaty and what if his hands slip of one of the bars??? It would be horrific for a load of teenagers to see him fall from that high and probably wild injure him severely if not kill him.
