Trying to figure out... Has anyone seen, or does anyone know what happened to the following character?

What do you guys do to keep from getting bored of your fursona?
To start off, my own fursona, Kajah, is a true manifestation of myself, so she's basically entirely me as a character. though there are a few small differences, she mirrors me quite a bit as having a representation of myself not match me just never works for me, I've tried it x3
Now, another thing about Kajah is she's gone through a ton of revamps. Besides the same black hair and violet eyes she now looks nothing like the original Kajah. But part of me kept mentally switching her over every time; I always knew it was still Kai, so even when I outgrew an old design she still stuck as firmly as ever.
I can't exactly describe why I like her so much and always have. Im not exactly fond of my own personality and therefore hers, and her design isn't the most stunning thing you'll ever see. But I'd say try some tweaks, either to personality or looks, and see if it clicks better. whenever I found myself disliking Kajah's design and therefore not appreciating her as much as a character, I gave her a revamp. To give you an idea on how different the oldest and newest versions are, this is the old Kajah (the one on the left if you couldn't tell);; good lord my 2014 art skills....

Well, I re-vamp my fursona every year so I don't get bored of it. I don't really have a fursona right now, but I'm working on that c:

What do you guys do to keep from getting bored of your fursona?
I don't know, actually. My current fursona, Mercer, was more of an accident. He was meant to be a regular OC and he just ended up being my fursona after I realized how much he represented me, and he's been so for a year now, whoops. He's definitely not the same in every way but majority he is, but I do give him different interests n such.

@smolder - ooh, kajah is pretty! I can relate to redesigning, I've redesigned some of my characters too many times to count but kept them basically the same |D but wow, what a difference! and such art improvement :'D
