Smoketail padded over to the fresh-kill pile. She started putting the prey in places where it would be protected during the attack.

[MollySue]

Cometpaw bounded after her eagerly.

[Smoketail]

Dewstar padded over to Nightwillow. "How are we doing with herbs?" she asked.

[horchata]

Swiftheart loped through the forest then stopped, scenting a squirrel. She turned to Cometpaw. "See if you can catch it." She whispered, pointing her tail over to where a gigantic squirrel was sitting on the leaves, digging into a morsel.

[MollySue]

"We're prepared for any attack." She promised.

Cometpaw dropped into a crouch and stalked forward. A twig snapped under her paw and the squirrel took off. Cometpaw sprang after it. As the squirrel leapt onto a tree, the young she-cat gave a tremendous leap and snagged it's tail. She quickly dispatched it.

"Good job." Swiftheart praised, then, with a last flick of her tail, continued to pad through the forest towards the river. "Would you like me to carry it?" She asked.

[MollySue]

Cometpaw shook her head, even though the squirrel was half her size. "I got it!"

[horchata]

"Ok, then. Lets keep going." Swiftheart padded onwards and scented the air. "Vole." She indicated Cometpaw to stop, then prowled forward slowely, her muscles rippling under her pure white fur. Then Swiftheart raced flat-out and silently towards a bush, took a flying leap over it, and then the bush rustled violently and something squealed, but it was cut off quickly, and Swiftheart padded out from behind the bush, carrying two plump voles in her mouth.

(I need to get off for a bit but I'll be back later.

Cometpaw's eyes shone. "That was great!"

Swiftheart placed her vole down. "Thanks." She picked it up and continued towards the river.
