She laughed a bit. "Ha well I just couldn't sleep so I was up when it was still dark...very dark. Meh its not too bad" she said and just shrugged innocently. Shakka always found it hard to sleep for too long but sometimes she could.

"Well that would be the complete opposite for me," Arrow said with a light chuckle. He was slowly relaxing around Shakka. She made it easy to be comfortable around. Additionally her optimism was contagious. "I follow a rule: no rising before the sun unless emergency." He said.

She smiled a bit. "That's a good rule...but what counts as an emergency? Other than like attacks or something?" she asked testing it. Wanting to see these limits to this 'rule' which she thought was amusing. Her tail wagging.

He shook his head with a grin, "I am not sure. Never had an 'emergency' urgent enough to interrupt my sleep." Arrow hoped this didn't make him seem lazy but it was true. He worked hard during the day and thought he always deserved a good night's sleep. "I do hope to keep it that way too!" He added as a side comment.

"Well so do you." Arrow retorted, "If you were to heal me, I'd rather have you awake and aware over drowsy and falling asleep." He shrugged dismissing the importance she had placed on them.

"Yup, I'd say it is number 1 for the list of importance. Even Alpha needs to sleep," Arrow said with a wag of his tail. The wolf glanced absentmindedly around camp. Everyone was engaged in their own conversations, or lazing around with nothing to do. He wanted to get out and do something. Of course he couldn't go for a hunt, since he was a scout and not a hunter. Arrow had always wanted to be hunter. He preferred stalking prey over borders but both ranks suited his abilities. Now thinking about the food his belly groaned quietly. It was late morning;s his stomach reminded him he had had only a light dinner last night and now it wanted breakfast. "Also 2nd on the list is food! Hungry at all?" he asked looking at the healer.

"Slightly yes I am" she said with a slow nod. She had been so focused on collecting herbs this morning that she didn't even bother to eat anything. She stood up and did a little stretch looking at Arrow. "You're a scout right?" she questioned just to make sure.

Arrow nodded his head, "yeah." To his disappointment he was stuck patrolling borders rather than chasing down deer, rabbits and elks. Being a scout wasn't all that bad, just repetitive and at times boring. He, too, rose to his paws and stretched. "Shall we go find food? There may be some deer left from the hunters. If not I may be able to catch mice or even a rabbit." Arrow suggested.
