Yeah, I'm trying to type now, but I am trying to find volunteer opportunities with the animal shelter. Hopefully, I can finish with a few weeks to spare. I would love to call this a pain, but if Midnight Madness turns out well it could be published and if not, it'll just go on my Quotev or Figment.
@Sagaline - ohhh! He's so cute! Maybe doing more than one writing hoard wouldn't hurt.
I'm too dedicated to my writing not to hoard writing pets.
Ahh, having a hoard dedicated to the theme of writing sounds so nice! Unfortunately for me I don't like any of the "writing" pets that we've had so far, but I wish you the best of luck with them, especially if you decide to try getting those 2009 dogs.
I tend to hoard pets that remind me of my writing, however! I think it's safe to say that at least half of my hoards are related to things from my stories somehow.
Maybe something like that would be a good idea for you, too? Just things like colour palettes or design themes that remind you of characters or locations, or which are symbolic for events from the story?

My memorial hoard is sitting at 1. Maybe i shouldn't hoard the 2010 Christmas black friesian and just dress this one up somehow
http://www.chickensmoothie.com/accounts ... rid=724341My blue roan appalossa hoard is doing pretty good.
http://www.chickensmoothie.com/accounts ... rid=724341And these 2010 jan appalossa's are pretty hard to get but so far its coming along good
My medieval horse hoard hasn't started just yet but i am working on that
The Friesians can be pretty tough to find, I imagine. They're well-liked due do being an immensely popular breed, and being several years old doesn't make it any better, I'm afraid.
But I think their demand is still reasonable, so finding them is a bigger problem than trading for them.
Hoarding hard-to-find pets isn't for everyone, but it can be very rewarding. If you aren't a patient person then maybe you might want to reconsider if hoarding this pet is worth it for you, or if the frustration outweighs the success.
I wouldn't give up too soon, however! Personally I had a few hoards with reeeally slow starts that eventually paid off big time. In fact I have some hoards that I started as early as 2010 that still aren't finished. Still happy with them, though!
In any case, good luck with your goals c:

I've done that for a few, but sometimes I can't find a pet based off my character or I just put it off. I have one based off a new characters, but the themes sometimes don't match the character or the setting, sometimes not even species. I don't see many elf based pets.

But I really like that. ^^ I might have to try sorting out character based pets, color wise anyways or power wise. But I'd have a lot of searching to do. But I found a pet based off of my character Reyna(she's an ice princess)so ones that are pretty easy would be good to find.
I suppose my first pet to find is to find a pure black pet with red eyes based off of Midnight Madness's main character, Robert.

I know how you feel @TrulyBrilliant I have to at least re sort every year. XD But I can't stop, I can't leave things unfinished! Good luck on your dragon hoard! ^^ I'll send some your way!
I get the tattoos,
I don’t give them.
My life is full of
the color blue and dachshunds.
” The birth of a new Demon Lord!
Quite an old sensation but a familiar one.
What a truly wonderful day!”

*slightly screeches*I knew when I first saw the Black foal they were going to turn out wonderful, but I still never started hoarding it. And now look at it! It's so beautiful, I must start hoarding at least 20 Of Them.
