Snowstorm furiously began to dig again, sending dirt flying behind her, and she slowly began to slip free. "Hey, I'm getting it! I'm almost fr- AHHHH!" For the second time that day, she slipped off the edge and plunged forward into the tall, dark cavern, the light from Pharaoh's flame disappearing. Quickly she snapped her wings open, falling a little slower. "I'm alright!" Snow called up, in case the SandWing went nuts. She kept on falling and falling, and a disgruntled look spread across her face. Finally she saw a light below, a soft aqua that lit up the cavern in several places. She landed lightly, letting out a "Woah!" as she tucked her wings in and looked up. The cavern ceiling extended who knows how far above, the walls dotted with aqua-colored crystals that gave the room a soft glow that spread across the entirety of it, despite it's massive size. Just like Jade Mountain, she realized.

Pharaoh-
Well, Pharaoh knew he couldn't just leave Snowstorm down there. He wrestled his head out of the space, then plunged into the hole Snowstorm had dug up. He slipped through easily, being about the same size she was, and spat out another gout of fire as he slowly descended. Before long, he saw a bluish light and he stopped breathing fire, snapping his jaws shut as he landed next to Snowstorm. "Woah..." he breathed. Crystals that looked like they were made out of water were casting rippling shadows across the rock walls. "What is this place?" He opened his wings and flapped up to one of the larger crystals, reaching out and pressing his talons against its surface. "What are aquamarine gemstones doing in a place like THIS? They're usually found out in clear ocean waters... Certainly not here." He looked down at Snowstorm. "Hey! Take a look at these beauties!"

Sapphire had decided to follow Snowstorm, simply because she could. she was dead now, and wanted to follow the dragonets to make sure they were ALWAYS safe. She simply floated through the hole, letting herself drop down into the abyss that she had followed Snowstorm into. Just as a precaution, though she was already dead, she let her wings slow her down, and floated down into the bottom of the cavern.

Snowstorm subconsciously reached a talon to her earring. Could it have been found in this very cave? She gave Pharaoh an amused look. "How can you know so much about gems of all things?" She suddenly felt something, like a small wind, float past her, and she shuddered for a moment. She didn't know how it could make her cold. Brushing it off, she tilted her head as she heard something, like rushing. "Hey, check it out." She walked over to a small waterfall, which was illuminated by something under it; the same crystals. She squinted as she spotted a small dark smudge of darkness, like a tunnel of sorts.

Pharaoh-
Pharaoh, who had been admiring the gemstones, nodded and followed Snowstorm. He stopped and landed in front of the waterfall, dipping a single talon into the clear surface. It sent ripples throughout the small pool and he looked over at the icewing, following her path of vision. He squinted at a darker patch behind the waterfall. "Hmm... You want to take a look or should we just leave it?" he asked, trying to keep the nervousness out of his voice. If that hold really did lead somewhere... What if it was like a network? What if they couldn't find their way out again. They could try leaving a trail so they knew the way back, but prying the aquamarine stones out of the rock could take ages, and they only had around an hour now.

After a while, Pathfinder finally got up, beckoning with his tail for Star to do the same. "C'mon. I want to show you something." He turned sharply out of the cave, down a stair-like spiraling tunnel, and into another that banked sharply downward and grew progressively darker, the glass globes becoming dimmer and dimmer. As they walked on, it curved to the left, and almost into complete darkness. After what felt like an eternity of walking, the sound of rushing water met their ears, and the two NightWings emerged into a small, smooth, and round room. The tunnel went downward, and into a pool of water, which was illuminated by blue stones. Pathfinder glanced over at Starkeeper. "You a good swimmer?"

Snowstorm was already swimming through the pool by the time Pharaoh had asked that question. "C'mon!" she said cheerfully, disappearing behind the rushing waterfall. She took the deepest breath she could, then dove under the water and through the hole. Her wings grazed the smooth edges, and she beat her wings and talons as fiercely as she could, swimming surprisingly faster than a normal IceWing- probably from all the times she dove into Rift's pool at Jade Mountain.

Pharaoh-
If there was one thing Pharaoh hated, other than other dragons, fighting, and basically everything about the world, it was swimming. In addition to being a pathetic flier, his swimming skills were even worse. Rift had TRIED to teach him a few times, but his barbed tail wasn't built for swimming and steering, like the crocodile-like tail his seawing pal had. He had nearly drowned a few times, too, but Rift had always been there to pull him out of it. Pharaoh bit his lip, wading into the pool until his nose brushed against the waterfall and the pool was up to the top of his chin. He took a deep breath, feeling like his lungs would explode, then dove under the water. Immediately, he found himself in liquid darkness. He kicked out hard with his back legs, feeling the need for more air as he flailed around frantically. He surfaced again, this time behind the waterfall, but the hole itself was still under the water. He took another deep breath, then dove under again, trying to follow the swirl of bubbles that Snowstorm's tail was leaving behind. The minute he forced himself into the small tunnel, he felt claustrophobic, and his brain was screaming for more air. It was sending off bad signals, and if he didn't get more air soon...

After a while of swimming, Snowstorm turned around - which wasn't easy, considering the size of the tunnel - and grabbed Pharaoh's talons, and pointed above them. She swam upwards, and towards a tall, dome-shaped hole above the water, with a stone 'pipe' in the very center of the ceiling that ran all the way to the surface and supplied air. Snowstorm's head burst out of the water, gasping for air. She coughed some water out of her nose, then asked Pharaoh, "You alright?"

Pharaoh-
Pharaoh had learned something, today; that it was really hard to take in gulps of air while also hacking and sneezing up a hell a lot of water. He coughed and hacked and sneezed, taking in great gulps of air and beating his waterlogged wings rapidly to dry them off. "Let's hope we can find another way out, because I am NOT going back in there again!" he coughed. Finally, when his throat and nostrils felt like they were on fire and had been scraped raw, he stopped coughing, now simply trying to breath and sort out his thoughts. He got up, flapping his wings one final time and sticking his tongue out at the hole behind him. Then he turned back to Snowstorm. "Alright, well, we've come this far. Might as well see what else is up ahead." He spit more fire into the darkness ahead of him, the tunnel already lit up by a few stray aquamarine stones, but the flame faded as it disappeared down the stone corridor.

Snowstorm nodded, then turned to climb up on the small 'bank', before noticing two dark dragons staring at them with purple and green eyes. Snowstorm froze, blinking. "Uh.. Hi," she said uncertainly.
