Hello c: I love writing but I can never be bothered to actually write, so I often end up with a bunch of random plots, none of which have an ending. Does anyone else start writing a story without sparing a thought for where it'll finish?

Umm, same.
I have about 25+ short stories that don't have an ending and they probably never will. I even started writing a book, got up to 10 chapters and I still don't think I will ever end it

OMG! THAT MUST STINK!!!

Agreed, if I lost all my writings I would personally give up on writing all together. It gives me chills just thinking about it.

Anyway, don't you guys hate it when you have super motivation to write a certain story, then wait a day, write bit, and loose all you stream?

Does anybody (except for me), have it when you are trying to write, you write some, go back to what you just wrote...and it is nothing like you expected?

@FiveSecondsToFly: Can't agree with you more, and then I have a tiny story meltdown and will sit there just hating it.

Especially when I write something I've never done before and in my mind/when I'm writing it I'm like: "Alright, this is going OK so far." And then I read it and I'm like; was I on something when I was writing this?

Ugh, I'm really losing my motivation for my latest story... I love the characters, storyline, everything still, I just never actually feel like writing more. I want to keep writing, I feel like this is one of my cooler ideas and would be amazing to finish, but I just have zero inspiration.

I feel this hardcore. My novel is going nowhere but I love my characters and plot. I think some of my lack of motivation is from working so much.

Looks like I'm agreeing with everyone today.
This happened to me yesterday. I got all my writing space ready and then when I sat down to continue writing… nothing.

Speaking of "on something" ehem, I may have something like that

“Hey Midnight, I have a question,” Tara tells Midnight, her brows scrunches together in confusion.
“Ask away, I probably have an answer,” Midnight informs Tara.
“What do vampires smell like?” Tara asks, waiting for Midnight's answer, but she knows that she will get a joke answer first.
“Skittles, vampires reek of skittles,” Midnight teases.
“Midnight I'm serious,” Tara sighs.
“So am I!” Midnight yells while laughing.
“Really?” Tara asks, astounded by this new information.
“No,” Midnight teases and starts to giggle.
“MIDNIGHT!” Tara screams

Yeah, the entire story needs editing (it's not even done though) XD, not saying I'm getting rid of this!

But, yeah, Midnight's like that throughout the whole thing

I just realized something bad

My school is changing their email system so in a few weeks my school email which is the main one I use will be deleted

All my writing is on the google docs from that email

Fortunately, I should be able to share and switch ownership of all the documents to my other email, but it's going to be a lot of onerous work.

The iridescent moon was already high in the sky when Samantha heard it, a blood-curdling scream. The time was 1:45am, and Samantha wasn't sure about anyone else, but that wasn't exactly a thing she heard very often- not even as a hunter.
Kicking her sheets off her legs, she rushed into the bathroom, path lit by the moonlight that was streaming through her windows. Once in the bathroom she flicked the light switch, casting an almost eerie, golden glow around her. Samantha took a quick glance at the mirror, a small frown plastered on her pale face, light blue eyes lined with tiredness. She let out a soft sigh, rubbing her eyes and kicking in the middle panel on the back of the wall, slipping through the narrow space to reveal a set of stairs which she hurried down. Reaching the bottom of the stairs, she turned left into a large space that seemed to stretch for miles- an illusion that only hunters had ever been able to figure out, seeing as supernatural creatures were usually dead before they got to this point.
A faint howl had Samantha's brow creasing in worry, her jogging switching to a sprint to the closet on the other side of the hall. Nearly slamming into the closet, she ripped the door open, pulling out [put some leather stuff here] and quickly switching into it, reaching in again to grab a thick belt that was adjourned with a small pouch of knives, a holster, and [some other stuffz here]. Reaching in one last time, she pulled out a rifle, and a handgun, checking the ammunition before slipping the handgun into the holster, and strapping the rifle across her back, leaning down to slip on a pair of dark brown leather boots before she sprinted back to the stairs, heading over to a small blue panel in the wall and typing in [some passcode here], a door becoming visible before her eyes. She'd walk out, closing the door behind her and watching as it disappeared before quickly hurrying the the direction of the howl, eyes scanning the area in which she ran to check for this "creature."

If i decide to continue on it, It'll obviously need to be edited [a lot].
So that'll be fun- but what do you guys think so far? ouo
