Fernstar looked at Berrypaw and nodded. "Thank you." Then she turned to Gullstep. "I will leave you alone with your kits now." She smiled and congratulated the queen again before leaving the medicine den. "Sorrelpaw?" She mewed, beckoning with her tail for her apprentice to follow. "Let's help Maplehawk with the elder's den." She mewed and padded across to the elderly she cat. "We're here to help." She smiled at Maplehawk as she approached.

Threeleg sat down beside Gullstep and smiled at the bundles of life in front of him. "I wasn't here when they were born, what did you name them?" He mewed, looking up at the queen. It was always a thrill to him when kits were born, and he was proud of Gullstep and the Clan for managing without him. Every kit was beautiful, and they would be valuable warriors of the Clan one day.

Juniperfrost turned at an unwelcome yet familiar voice. The rogue from the gathering. Her neck fur began to stand on end and he arched her back slightly as Fernstar confronted the tom. When he turned and disappeared, she looked at Berrypaw. "Go and tell the patrol to keep a sharp eye out and to make sure he stays out of our territory." She told her apprentice as her neck fur lay flat.

Sparrowpaw let out a purr. "Yeah! Can we go now Blueheart?" He asked his mentor, looking up at the blue tuxedo tom with bright eyes. He wanted to get going so they reached the StoneClan border before it got too dark to see through the rocky mountain landscape. He hoped Pinepaw would be either training or on patrol, preferably training as there wouldn't be many StoneClan cats around. The tom glanced back at Berrypaw for a short moment, but she was lost in the nursery where the new kits were mewling. He would catch something extra juicy for Gullstep.

Aquilo smiled at the ginger tabby. "Don't be upset if they reject you, they are in a tough situation at the moment. If you want a better chance at being accepted, I would give them a few days. Oh, and don't just walk into their camp, wait until you are found by a cat. But the more obvious, the better." He advised, waving his tail in a friendly manner.

She heard a rustling, and dived into the undergrowth. A large scarred black tabby tom padded out, and walked away. Moon felt her eyes widen. He's scary, she thought, I hope not all the Clan cats are like him! She stood up once he'd gone, took a deep breath, and padded into the Clan cats' camp.

Ivypaw pricked her ears. Gullstep? Having her kits now? But all the medicine cats are out of camp! She turned to go to the nursery, then stopped when a plump black she-cat padded into camp, a mouse dangling from her jaws. Who is that? Another rogue? Ivypaw worried what Fernstar would think of another rogue coming into camp. But this strange cat's fur shined, like a kittypet's.

The she cat left the nuresery to give Gullstep more space. She wanted to go back to help Juniperfrost but she saw Ivypaw looking at some black cat so Berrypaw walked to stand where Ivypaw was and then called at the cat."Wait! Who are you?" It was strange to see this cat here. She's a kittypet. What is doing a tamed kitty out here?! Berrypaw tought and approached the black kittypet.

Gullstep politely dipped her head at Fernstar as the leader left the den. Smiling at Threeleg she listed her newborns off -- pointing her tail to each one as she named them, "This is Owlkit, this here is Applekit, this one is Otterkit... and this is Wavekit," she then tilted her head to the kit she had adopted, "This is Silverkit. She wasn't a part of my litter, but I plan to take care of her as if she were my very own."

Crabwhisker was about to enter the nursery when he heard a commotion near the entrance. Another rogue? What more could go wrong today? What he saw however... appeared to be a kittypet. His fur still fluffed up at the intruder even though he doubted they could do much.
"What are you doing here, kittypet?" Crabwhisker called out to the intruder.

Sorrelpaw grabbed her pile of materials, laborously dragging them to Fernstar. She limped slightly on her left side, but other than that managed fine, even with the angry left shoulder. Dropping the pile near her mentors, she started weaving the fronds into the den.

Wavekit finished her meal and started crawling towards the entrance of the den. Something was drawing her to it. As she heaved her little body forward, she ran into Applekit. An angry squeak of protest sounds from Wavekit as her progess is halted. She flails her small paws in an attempt to climb over her sister, but ended up somehow flipping herself onto her back.

He mewed before flicking his tail to Goldenpaw and leaving the den. "Crabwhisker? We're going back out so would you mind--" The tom stopped talking and followed his gaze to a sleek black she cat. Her fur was pampered and well groomed and she smelt so strongly of Twolegplace it made Threeleg curl up his nose. Kittypets!

Juniperfrost looked over her shoulder from the nursery where she'd caught a peek of the newborns to see what was clearly a kittypet wander into camp with prey in her jaws. What now? Juniperfrost snorted angrily before padding back to the medicine den. "Bramblewhisker?" She whispered in case he was asleep. "There's a kittypet in camp and four new kittens." Her tone changed from an angry growl to a happy chirp throughout the sentence.

Bramblewhisker stirred, blinking his pale green eyes open and staring up, seeing Juniperfrost. "Kits?" He grunted, shaking his fur out to fully wake himself. "I'd like to see them. Can we?" He purred, imagining his own kits scampering around the camp one day. "And a kittypet? Ah, he probably is just exploring. I think he is fine."

Ashpaw anxiously padded around the forest. He sniffed around but no matter how hard he tried there was nothing. Ashpaw finally got it..a scent. It was faint but definite. He followed it for a bit then he heard he calling his name. Sprinting towards the place he heard the noise and accidentlly leaving Silentstream behind he finally reached her. He took one look at her tail and grabbed some cobwebs. Ashpaw knew they were good for wounds as his mother had taught him that at a young age. He gently pressed them on then sat down next to her. "What happened?!" He meowed rather furiously. He then looked down and looked at the hurt in her eyes and apologised. "I..I'm so sorry...I was just so worried" he meowed, his voice filled with grief. He gently licked her fur until Silverstream caught up. Ashpaw then meowed "We need to get her back to camp and to Threeleg now"

Dawnflower was just getting into her meal when the kittypet entered the camp. What now? she thought to herself. The kittypet's smell made her wrinkle up her nose and almost loose her appetite but she was so hungry she continued eating. Dawnflower kept a close eye on the cat as she slowly ate. She knew that clan cats have had problems with kitty pets in the past but she didn't think a single one could do much. She continued watching the kittypet, waiting to see what would happen.
