Oh wow, they are gorgeous! They look like seed eaters; try getting some wild bird seed. They appear to be a week and some days old. Once they are 2-3 weeks old start weaning them onto seed. I suggest getting baby bird food for them, they can't be completely on eggs. After they finish completely growing their feathers, move them to a long bird cage with a few perches low enough for them to hop on. Try to avoid handling them as much as possible. Good luck raising the birds! Let me know if you have any other questions. =)

Please put the birds back where you found them or contact your local wildlife organization.

Please put the birds back or contact your local wildlide rehab. In the US it is illegal to possess nearly all species of wild bird.
Honey, it's in the stars
And you're my everything from here to Mars
And every word I say I truly mean
Dear darling, I hope I'm being clear
'Cause there's no one like you on earth
That can be my universe

One day there was this baby that fell out of the nest at my grandparents house. It ran across the road when it was barely days old.It was about to get run over and my grandpa scooped it up.My grandmother had a license for keeping animals like that.
BUT I think if these guys were gonna die you did the right thing for now.Maybe later on take them to a sanctuary so they could be with other birds?Or take them to a professional, licensed caretaker.

They are very cute but I 100% agree with them, please release them back into the wild or give them to someone who has a liscence to keep and raise wildlife, or a rehabilitation center. Like they said it is illegal to own most every bird species, and very difficult to give them the right stuff to survive, and they will most likely die.

P.s. sorry I have been absent guys! I hope to keep this running though, I have been very busy but now that it is summer I should be more active. I will also most likely be fostering a new lovie for a few months while people figure some stuff out. I will tell you all more to come!

One of the diamond doves hatched an egg! =D Pidove has never hatched one though, so I'm hoping she'll take good care of the baby; this also confirms that Poppy is a male... any name suggestions? Not sure whether the baby will survive, I switched to a deeper nest so I don't think he can climb out. He looks like he hatched around three days ago, I never move the parents off the egg to check and I probably didn't notice him. Now the doves have all paired up; Pidove with Poppy and Tutu with Buddy. Tutu will probably have hatched eggs soon, Buddy was regurgitating for her and mating a day before the eggs appeared!

Aw how cute! I still would go with my initial baby list of names from a few pages back! I am happy to hear about your new addition! WHy don't you just move them into a shallower nest again?
