He tilted his head thoughtfully at the comment, before finally smiling. "Before I take that deal... " He said finally. "Define 'open up'." He noted, sitting up a bit straighter. There was nothing wrong with making a little bet at his brother's expense, after all. Frankly there were times that he honestly deserved it. His eyes flickered to where Sage was, then. "Ah, actually you may have missed your current chance." He noted with a soft laugh as Storm approached his brother.

Frog then notices the partridge that Mist had basically ran over. "Well.. that's not a hare." She chuckles, twitching her whiskers. She still had faith that her perky apprentice could catch the rabbit if she left the partridge behind.

A short pause as Thyme weighed the possibilities. Finally he gave a decisive nod. "Alright Petal, you're on." He told her. "But it only counts if I'm nearby and can hear it should you actually manage it. If I'm not witness to it, it doesn't count." He states almost right after, his eyes moving back to Sage once more. "I can't imagine it will last long, honestly. I don't think Storm has the right disposition to get much of a conversation from Sage."

humming softly as she thought, she looks towards sage and storm once more. "should i wait until they finish their conversation?" she asks, looking back towards thyme, a mischievous glint in her eye as she thought of what she would say to his brother. she would probably have to be rather persistent, but if anyone could do it, she believed that she'd be the one to make sage talk normally

He mewed to really no one in particular, in case Sage didn't want to answer. Storm was quiet, not stupid. He knew just as well as anyone that Sage wasn't much of a talker, even more so then Storm hisself

Mist quickly killed the pheasant and looked around for something to help her with the large bird. She found a nearby vine and yanked it off the rocks. She hauled the pheasant onto her silver and black back, and used the vine to tie it in place. She started off again, not as quick as before, but maybe she had a chance to beat Bee to the valley.

(Wouldn't it be funny if Bee and Mist found the Hare at the same time and both pounced on it, like BONZAI!!! O3o please excuse my weirdness... X3)

Bee's run slowed to a walk when she realized Mist wasn't with her anymore. The Siamese to-be scented the air, trying to find her friend. "Mist?" She mewed, following the scent trail until she found her. She let out an amused purr when she saw Mist laying on top of a pheasant.

Bee turned and took off back in the direction she had scented the hare once she saw Mist had killed the pheasant. She slowed her pace and dropped into a crouch once she saw the hare's ears poking out above a thick patch of grass. "I'll catch you... Horizon will be proud of me..." She thought, moving towards the hare that hadn't realized how close it was to dying. It just nibbled away at the grass without a care in the world.


Hiss suppressed an amused snort when Moss finally saw what he had been waiting for her to notice. "You need to pay closer attention. Scenting for things is good, but you need to be looking for danger as well, Moss." He mewed.

"Now can you try and see who is on the hunting patrol?" Hiss mewed. When he was a to-be, the guards had to train their eyes to see better than the other tribe cats had to.


Sunteller thought for a moment, considering Mouse's question. "I've never thought of having them do that before." The she-cat mewed before smiling. "I'll definitely have a patrol do that the next time they head towards where dock grows." She purred, touching her tail tip to Mouse's ear before putting away the herbs that she had taken out to show Mouse.


Bear gives a friendly nod to Talon and Frog, watching Bee and Mist take off after a catch before turning to follow after Lily. He touched his tail to her shoulder as he passed her, leading her safely to the river.

"What kind of fish are you gonna try and hunt for?" He mewed, looking back at her.


Horizon followed Fox, excitement ruffling her pelt as she felt the wind tugging against her short pelt. "Let's stay up in the mountains." She mewed, unsheathing her claws to get a better grip on the rocks as she scrambled up the side of the mountain so she could get above the cave.

"I think we should try hunting one of those goats that usually stay up higher in the mountains. It could feed the whole tribe." Horizon called down to Fox.
