She gently set the kit back down, frantically looking over him.
"Where? Where does it hurt?" She asked in a peaceful tone.
The truth was, Fallenwing had sways wanted kits, but she just never found the right tom. It would be nice to foster a kit, but stealing a kit from another clan? No, that was wrong. She needed to get the kits returned to Stormclan.

He couldn't answer. It hurt too much he just sat there silently. Eyes squeezed shut and started to whimper instead. It hurt to howl but it hurt anyways. He didn't know what was wrong. He couldnt exactly remember what had happened but he still knew he was in a scary clan.

"No no no! I'll always love you!" He said frantically. He blinked as Fallenwing came rushing in. Shadowstar behind her. "Fallenwing, is the kit hurt? Broken bones?" He asked. "Perhaps take the kit back to your den?" Russetgrowl suggested. Shadowstar blinked. Then nodded. He carefully picked the kit up and slowly took it out of the nursery, being ever so careful not to nudge it, so the only thing touching it was air. "Never get peace and quiet." Russetgrowl hissed.

That was it. Russetgrowl's comment had snapped her, she was beyond angry now.
"Do you want to know why you never get peace and quiet? Hmm? Gee, I'm not that bright, but it's probably because your mate there disobeys orders! She nearly killed a kit! Starclan knows what Shadowstar's going to do with me now, and it's all her fault." She hissed, pointing her tail towards Bearstep.
Her fur was spiked up, and her claws were unsheathed. Fallenwing was so close to ripping Bearstep's fur right off of her, but she knew that it wasn't the smartest thing to do.

He winced when he was picked up but relaxed a little when he wasn't touching anything.

He sighed. "Fallenwing, they have had enough today, leave them be." He growled. He was also very exhausted. There was so much to take care of, but right now he wanted time to think. He had always admired Fallenwing. That's why she was deputy. She was a little short-tempered, but she fought for what was right. He knew that she did not share his opinions often, but maybe that was good. He would ask her what she thought about the kits.

Fallenwing was extremely irritated, but she couldn't show anger towards the leader.
"If you think this is even close to over, you're beyond wrong." She spat at the couple, turning away to walk behimd Shadowstar.

{As much as I'd like to, I was hoping that Fallenwing focus completely on her role as deputy. She's ambitious, so she doesn't want to get all caught up in a relationship. Especially with the new conflict with Stormclan. I honestly do want her to have a mate, but possibly later?}

Shadowstar said nothing. He carefully climbed up the rock that he would normally jump in two bounds. He wandered into his den and lay Sunkit down beside Quickkit. "Talon, now you can go." He said calmly. He inspected the kit, waiting for Fallenwing to say something. He looked up. "Scatterscar, please leave." He mewed calmly. She shrugged and left, bounding down the rocks.
