"Can I go with you?" Horizon mewed, excitement sparkling in the young she-cats pale amber eyes. The kit-mother hadn't left the cave since before Mouse was born and now that she was a to-be, she couldn't wait to get back out and fall back into her role as a prey-hunter. The pale grey, ginger and white she-cat also kind of hoped she'd be able to see her other daughters, Bee and Moss out training.

Bear nodded, touching his tail to Lily's shoulder before leading her out of the cave, scenting the air to see if there was any danger nearby before picking his way down the side of the rock wall to the valley that was below the cave. He paused half way down, looking up at Lily to make sure she was getting down alright before looking around, pausing when he saw Bee jumping down into the valley with Mist, their mentors, Talon and Frog not far behind.

Bee's eyes glinted with determination when Talon mentioned that she should try catching the hare. The young to-be hadn't caught much on her own; just the occasional mouse or small bird that she came across every once in a while. She shot Mist a playful look. "I'll get to it first." She teased, flicking her tail towards her.

Bee hurried past Mist, hopping down onto a rock below them, scenting the air again to try and find where the hare is. "It's down in the valley..." She thought, quickly descending down the ragged rocks.

Hiss sighed slightly, a tiny bit disappointed. "Stop scenting, use your eyes, Moss." He mewed, flicking his tail irritably.


Sunteller craned her head to look over at what Mouse was asking about. "Those are dock leaves. They can be used to help with scratches and help soothe sore pads. I can't find them easily in the mountains, I have to go down into one of the valleys or just outside the mountains to find them. I usually go through them a lot since the prey-hunters and guards have to climb the rocks all the time."

MIST THAT COVERS THE FOREST

Mist hissed playfully and raced after Bee. She took a different path to the Valley that was her own secret short cut. The young to-be swerved out of the way to avoid hitting a rock. But her flank still hit it anyways. Mist hissed a little but shook out her fur and kept running when a startled pheasant ran in front of her. She collided with the fluffy creature and layed on it as she flipped over onto her stomach with the bird under her

STORM THAT STRIKES AT DAWN

Storm woke up with a gasp. He swung his head around, taking in his surroundings when he suddenly realized he was in the cave. The tom sighed, knowing that no matter how hard he tried, his nightmares about Rain dying just wouldn't leave. He stood up and shook out his fur while slowly padding out into the cave.

Moss frowns at herself, then glances around, her pupils dilating as she scans the area. A flash of movement caught her eye, and she saw a few cats heading down the mountain. "Oh! I feel featherbrained now.. A hunting patrol just went out!"

"What if the prey-hunters and cave-guards collected them if they saw any while they were hunting in the valleys?" Mouse mews, the idea sparking out of her jaws. Excitement buzzed through her pelt, and she already knew she was going to love being a healer. A grin spreads across her muzzle like a rising sun as she watches her mentor consider the question.

Lily follows Bear out of the cave and into the territory, observing the area carefully. She safely walked down the rock wall that leads to the valley and sees Bee, Mist, Talon, and Frog. Giving them a nod of hello, she continues her way to the river, looking back to make sure Bear is still with her.

Fox that swims in the creek

"i don't see why not! Let's get going then" she meowed and began to leave the cave she hated so much and into the open where the she-cat belonged "wanna head down to the valley? Or stay up here in the mountains?" Fox asked with a tinge of excitement flowing with her silk like voice.

letting out a soft purr, he watches as the to-bes dart in the direction of the hare, fighting to get there first. "as frog said, watch where you're going and don't go too far!" he calls after them, padding forward a few paces before stopping and surveying the she-cats as they descended skilfully down the rocky valley. "this should be bee's first big kill on her own if she succeeds." he says with a flicker of his tail before descending after them, staying a safe distance to spectate and intervene if necessary

letting out another soft mrrow of laughter, the she-cat let's out a sigh. "my, my thyme. why don't you fluff out your tail and charm some lovely lady cat sometimes? i'm sure many are attracted to the intellectual type such as yourself. though i wonder if sage would intervene, not wanting to share his dear brother." she purrs, taking on a light, half joking tone. she seemed to be enjoying herself, toying with other cats and joking around did prove to be rather entertaining

letting out a soft huff, the dark tom closes his eyes as the clouds drifting over the sun shifted, letting sunlight in where they were sitting near the chilly entrance of the cave, warming his fur in a pleasant way. "i take it that you just wanted someone to talk to?" he meows questioningly, flicking his tail towards the smaller she-cat as he awaited her response

With almost all the to-be's being taken for training, there was less of a chance he would be needed to keep an eye out. Sage's ear twitched after realizing Thyme was still speaking to Petal, and he instead set himself down just outside in the cave entrance. Laying to one side so there was easily still room to enter and exit, the tom's tail tip flicked back and forth idly as he watched the surroundings. Less actual guarding and more simply wasting time while looking as if he were doing something productive.

His own laughter joined hers at that point. "I do not believe it would be as easy as you are attempting to make it sound, Petal." He noted softly with a last chuckle. "As for Sage..." His tail flicked at that. "Well, I could see him not wanting to share. Not many can actually stand speaking to him for any period of time, let alone catch prey with him as their guard."

Noticing poor Sage all alone, Storm padded over quietly and sat next to the Tom. "H-how are you today Sage?" He asked quietly making sure that he didn't make eye contact.

"think there's any chance i could get him to open up and talk to me?" she asks curiously, turning her pale gaze back towards the tom's brother. "if i can, you have to flirt with some she-cat." she purrs, a challenging glint in her eye as she waits for his response. it would be hard to get the other tom to open up, thyme was rather friendly but sage liked to disconnect himself from everyone else other than his brother

Amusement glints in her blue eyes. "Not if Mist gets it first! If she does, I get to pick which prey we share later during meal-time. If Bee gets it, you pick. Deal?" Frog grins slyly at Talon, internally hoping he would accept the bet. Expecially because it looked like Mist would catch it.
