Starkeeper flattened her ears against her skull. "NO, you don't want me to socialize with anyone of my tribe! Stop lying! I'm a NightWing and I can't do it. I can't talk with any NightWing."

((Alright, sorry if I'm all wonky and out of context.))

Rift was a bit frazzled by the sudden events, but he shook his head and stepped in front of the NightWing. "Look, we all have negative things about us in one way or another. Me! I do! I'm not the brightest star in the sky. I'm physically slow. I can't control my temper. Whether it's personality-based or some oh-so-horrible 'curse', we all have something wrong with us. Please, everyone, calm down. That doesn't mean I'm taking your side, either, Pharaoh," he asserted, withdrawing.

Pharaoh-
Pharaoh sucked in air through his gritted fangs. "Yeah, I can tell. Actually, yeah, we all have flaws. I happen to be a terrible fighter, and a terrible flier. Hell, let's just throw in the fact that I'm a coward. Maybe even a little STUPID." His claws gripped the rock ground, and he couldn't stop the words that were tumbling out of his mouth now. "Actually, maybe I'm the worst at SURVIVAL! I'm surprised I even made it this far!"

Starkeeper let out another bitter chuckle, though it was now a quiet one. "You can talk to your own species. You aren't shunned by all other dragons that are your 'friends.' You're trusted by us." She took a short, ragged breath. Starkeeper held back the tears, but her throat still tightened a bit. "Maybe I'll just tell the queen about you. You wouldn't care about me at this point, would you?"
Despite reading so many maps, she was a terrible navigator. But they were close enough to the volcanic island, and she knew Pathfinder was nearby.
With that, she snapped her starry wings open and made her way out of the dragon-filled cave.

Pharaoh-
Pharaoh shook his head rapidly. This wasn't about him. It was about Starkeeper. "Hey! Starkeeper! Wait!" he cried, scrambling after her. "You can't! You... You can't leave!"

Rift howled with frustration and raced after the NightWing, not caring about Pharaoh's protests. "STAR! COME BACK!" he bellowed.

Flicker heard distant shouts and broke her vehement glare to investigate. "What was that?" she growled contemptuously, flicking her tongue in and out, getting her fire ready just in case.

Snowstorm didn't make a move; she only watched grimly as Starkeeper shot into the morning sky. "Let her go," Snow said softly. "She needs some time alone." She turned to Pharaoh, eyes filled with confusion and suspicion. "I'm worried, though. How did she find out about my powers? And did she really mean.. Queen Foreseer?"

Pathfinder finally realized he was still near Flicker. He turned his green gaze over his shoulder to glance at her, sliding his tongue in and out. He shrugged. "Don't ask me." Starkeeper, what happened? he asked mentally, with a hint of worry in his voice. Did you really just spill your secret? He spread his wings, silver scales reflecting the sunlight, ready to take off if his sister needed help.

Pharaoh-
Pharaoh stopped dead in his tracks at the sound of Snowstorm's voice. He was breathing softly, but he turned around and avoided her gaze. "No, of course she didn't mean that... Starkeeper wouldn't ever do that. You're right, she just needs some time." He sighed, looking at her. "We really should be leaving, though... What do you think we should do?" Pharaoh was confused, angry, and upset. Not only was Everest acting ridiculous, now Starkeeper was, too.

Snowstorm traced a line in the stone with one talon, avoiding Pharaoh's gaze. "We leave without them," she said firmly, with a sullen look. "We can't afford anymore delays. Everest and Starkeeper can follow us if they really want." She stood up, glaring at the pool. "Gather your things. We're leaving in twenty minutes."

Pharaoh-
Pharaoh sighed, although he had been expecting that. "Alright, deal," he agreed, brushing past Snowstorm and heading towards the back of the cavern, where he had stashed most of the meat. Some of it was already gone... They hadn't been able to hunt because of the storm, and although Sapphire had brought back a thing or two, it hadn't exactly been enough. He reached between two boulders pressed next to each other and groped around for the meat, pulling it all out bit by bit.
