Anger grew in her once more, "I understand that, you being a 'superhero' and all but look I've been "walking around" for my whole life. That's the first time that's ever happen."

Pointed at the ceiling he sighed, "I feel like we have all day." Steve and Coal were probably still talking, giving him the time to get to know Ella.

"So, Ant Man," Ella started awkwardly, "what's that all about?" She walked over to a bed side table, taking a bottle of Tylenol out.

"The first time, and very possibly not the last, I like you Coal, but I don't like putting people at risk. Letting you walk around, not being able to control your power does just that," he tried to keep his voice steady as frustration threatened to surface.

She glared at him, her hand burst out before she could stop it. She had pushed him away from her, "Ella! Time to go!" She screamed loudly, as she raced for the other edge of the building. Without thinking she jumped over the gap, landing on a window attached to the building across from them. Looking up she counted quickly, "Three stories below the roof." She growled, then started to climb.

He laughed, "There's a suit you know." The man looked around in confusion as he heard some scream at Ella, his eyes darted towards her.

Ella pried the window open quickly, looking upwards, but not seeing her on the roof above her. She turned to Scott accusingly, "what did your friend do?" She fought to control her anger.

Steve Rogers/ Captain America/ Tags- Coal
She was gone before he had a chance to stop her, "Coal! Wait!" He looked over to where she had jumped, and hoped she had heard him, he needed her to listen to him.

She heard Steve yell at her but kept going, "Ella!" She called, "Its time to go now!" Her foot was resting on a window sill and as she went to move her hand up another inch she lost her balance. Letting out a terrified scream she slipped, only managing to grab the sill with a hand. Pain flashed from her hand, "God!" She snapped, she must have cut it. Kicking out her feet trying to get a hold on the side of the building she worked her hands towards the back of sill. "Not. Dying. Today."

"Steve wouldn't do anything to her!" He said, his voice was gentle but held a dark warning. If she said anything bad about Steve he would lose it.

"Where is that stupid pigeon when you need him?" Ella mumbled, mostly to herself. "And I wasn't saying that he did, just, he's the only one that's out there with her..." suddenly she heard a scream of pain come from the next building, she turned to Scott, "did you hear that?"

He heard the scream and immediately knew it was Coal, "Ella!" He yelled, "a little help out here?" He knew that if he came to her aid, it would anger her farther, and her best friend was probably the only person who could fix this situation.

Now hanging by one hand some how she looked over at the building Steve was on, "Look are you just gonna scream for Ella or are you gonna do something superhero?" She was still irritated but she needed help and Ella would take forever.

He froze then raced for the window, "Steve?" He called.

She didn't wait for an answer as she raced out of the apartment, taking the stairs two at a time, almost face planting a few times. Reaching outside, she tried to keep her calm as she walked over the next building, looking around carefully until she spotted Coal dangling from the ledge of a window, but Steve had beat her there.

Steve knew she could handle herself for a few more seconds as he maneuvered himself safely down to the ground from the fire escape, "hey Coal, you're going to hate me for saying this, but let go, and I'll try to catch you."

"I would be okay with this but you said try. Now I'm scared." Her voice shook, then a thought crossed her mind. "Never mind I don't need help..." She went on trying to pull herself up, but slipped more. People were beginning to gather around, some talking about calling the cops. "Crap!" She growled, looking down at them she sighed. Her hand slipped once more and then she was falling towards the pavement, "Steve!" She screamed in fear.

He had followed Ella quickly and was now watching the show. Coal was yelling at Steve then at herself then at Steve, it was amazing how bipolar she was. Stuffing his hands in his packets he leaned towards Ella, "Is she bipolar or something? She cant seem to make her mind if she wants his help or not..."

The only problem with living in a city were the birds. As well as listening to the people chatter, she heard the voices of the other animals that had gathered around. It took a minute for Scott's words to reach her, through all the other noises, "very," she stated.

"Coal..." he watched as she struggled against the building, until she finally fell. His breathe caught in his throat, as he raced to catch her, almost scared that he wouldn't make it in time, until he felt her body crash into his, smashing him against the pavement.
