Goldenpaw pricked up his ears. It seemed Berrypaw was calling him. All he heard was "gullstep " and "kits" but it was enough. He darted easily to Threeleg. "Threeleg. I just heard Berrypaw calling us. It's gullstep. "

Fernstar glared at the rogue. "That doesn't mean you get to just waltz in here! I am grateful for the message, but next time don't make it seem like you're looking for trouble." She mewed before he turned and disappeared. Then the leader spun her head around at a yowl from the nursery. Sprinting across, she poked her head in. "Gullstep? Are you alright?" She asked, sitting down inside the nursery, her green eyes a crowded wilderness of emotions.

Threeleg turned his head. "Gullstep?" His eyes widened. Her kits! "Come on, we need to grab some borage and raspberry leaves as quick as possible!" He started running as fast as he could through the undergrowth. They had hardly any of the more common herbs, let alone the proper herbs for kitting! When they reached the herbs he harvested them as quickly as he could. "Carry these." He instructed, handing Goldenpaw the borage. "Come on Crabwhisker, we need to get back to camp and fast!" He mewed, voice muffled by the raspberry leaves. "Grab a nice thick stick too." He ordered the warrior.

Juniperfrost turned at an unwelcome yet familiar voice. The rogue from the gathering. Her neck fur began to stand on end and he arched her back slightly as Fernstar confronted the tom. When he turned and disappeared, she looked at Berrypaw. "Go and tell the patrol to keep a sharp eye out and to make sure he stays out of our territory." She told her apprentice as her neck fur lay flat.

Sparrowpaw looked at Foxstripe and smoked at the warrior. "Don't worry Foxstripe. We all make mistakes." He assured the fæ before turning at Berrypaw's voice. "We'll be sure to keep a sharp eye out for him whilst we mark the borders." He promised the fæ before looking at Blueheart. "Can we go around the StoneClan border?" He asked, hoping he would run into Pinepaw, or at least see her pretty tabby tuxedo fur across the river. In only two days would he be meeting her again at the gathering place, and he couldn't wait. Of course he hadn't told Berrypaw, as he would lose her if he did. And she was the most important cat in his life... Right?

Aquilo smiled at the ginger tabby. "Don't be upset if they reject you, they are in a tough situation at the moment. If you want a better chance at being accepted, I would give them a few days. Oh, and don't just walk into their camp, wait until you are found by a cat. But the more obvious, the better." He advised, waving his tail in a friendly manner.

When Fernstar poked her head in the nursery Gullstep looked at her with wide, pained eyes, "The kits are coming!" she said again. Gullstep took the stick with a grateful nod, "Please -- take Silverkit. Thank you, Dawnflower," The queen bit into the stick to relieve some of the pain. She wondered where the medicine cats had gone -- trying to focus on things other than the pain.

Blueheart gave Silentstream a understanding nod "Just make sure to bring someone else with you, there could still be some foxes that have not left the territory" He ordered as He looked back at his patrol "Alright, seems like we are ready then?" he asked "Look out for Bloodwolf mark the borders and hunt" he said out loud just repeating what they were going to do. Once Sparrowpaw spoke he looked at him to hear him out "Yes we will go by Stoneclan but we will not cross the border, we are only there to mark them" he said at Sparrowpaw who looked to be in his own thoughts "My plan is to mark the borders and stop a few times at places that smell of prey" he added "Or do you have other suggestions?" he asked the group.

Sorrelpaw grabs a bundle of moss in her jaws, dipping it in the stream that ran nearby the camp. She darted back to camp, and zoomed into the nursery. Sorrelpaw dropped the dripping mossball in front of Gullstep, near the queens muzzle. "Water, in case you get thirsty." She dips her head breathlessly, then backpads out of the den into the camp's clearing.
