Winning them for sure, it makes me feel like I deserve to own the character

I think it can be unseen, like I have head canons for my characters, I daydream about them a lot and I create stories for them in my head that rarely get put on paper

Increased, oh my goodness have I increased in character numbers, hence my big sale xD

What do you look for in an artist's style when looking to buy art?
I normally have a character in mind when it comes to ordering art so I look for a style which suits my character

I think it's each to their own really, some people develop their characters completely, others work things out as they go along, so people prefer having lots of characters others prefer having a few

What is your favorite way to get characters? (I.E buying them, winning them, etc..)
winning characters is by far the most accomplishing because often times it helps to develop them. but due to lack of time i much prefer being able to purchase the characters i am interested in.

i definitely don't thing the only way to care for a character is to put out visible stuff. everyone uses their characters in a slightly different manner and whether that is visible publicly or goes unseen that is completely up to them and doesn't mean they care any more or less for their characters than the next person. it is important to remember a lot of people have an emotional attachment to their characters in one way or another and often times that goes unseen.

Well, ones who have completely different coloured eyes are Silver, Fredrck and Waldo.
Peikoe and Tobias have lighter shades of the same colour, and Aleks and Truvia have a sunset gradient.
Is one eye multi colors?
Yeah, Aleks and Truvia!
Why are their eyes so special?
I dunno, I just really love ocs with different coloured eyes to be honest.
Why do you like multi colored eyed characters?
It's just so cool! They look so lovely and make each side of a normally symmetrical character unique! Although, it's hard to commission art of them since some people don't pay attention to which eye colour goes to which side (myself included) haha!
Why don't you like multi eyed characters?
Probably because the difficulty in getting accurate art, possibly.
What style is more unique, the two eyes are different colors, or the one eye has 2+ colors, or both eyes are multi colored?
I would say both eyes being multicolored. Normally heterochromia is just two different solid eyes, but if an eye had a couple of colours that would be pretty neat.

What is your favorite type of YCH?
Auction, because if I lose interest someone else can bid above me I'd actually say unlimited flat sales. That way more than one person can receive their character on the lines! I also like pixels. . .a lot.

What is one REAL animal species that you feel should be more popular when it comes to characters?
Coatimundis, SHEEP, binturongs, ferrets, weasels. I'm a big fan of the Mustelidae family (art by Melissa Delteil).

If you could, what 1 character would you pick if you had the ability to make them real? and why?
I would pick Silver. Just having a dog who treats everything as if it were fiction and they're a direction/author writing each page is fascinating! Also, seeing them turn into their many forms would bring much entertainment!

I guess I can talk about Silver a bit (if you guys don't mind!)

Silver Backstory Info
So Silver is a dog cursed by their own parents! Their personality has been split into several different forms and in an arrangement of different colours! On top of that, Silver can only eat the mineral Silver! Since this metal is so precious the chubby fellow often goes hungry for days. They are the leader of a politically corrupt nation and they love it that way!

With cultural changes like citrus being used as currency, and the fact that red doesn't exist in their random Silver is a blast to write lore for! In addition to being very political Silver also loves causing drama because they see themselves an a director and author. They are always thinking of how to make the greatest plot twist or which two characters would make the cutest ship!

What do you think multiple fursonas?
I'm about to make myself a technical second one, so I'm totally fine with them! I mean, which me Silver is my mascot that if I were to make a published series about my universe Silver would be on the logo (sorta like Pikachu with Pokemon) while my actual sona. . .is still in the works, haha.

If you have more that one fursona, tell us why, and what they mean to you!
They are still being worked on, but their suppose to be a sheep werewolf mixed in with little red riding hood. I was called Little Red in elementary school because I wore a red jacket all day everyday, so I guess I wanted that to be apart of my sona.

Silver? I made him at 2am on a school night. Pffff.

Since v.6 or v.7, so that's . . since 2013? Wow, three years? Get out! Time goes by pretty quickly.
And yes actually, so many people have improved, it's like a whole new generation.

Do you have a certain goal of 'development' for your characters? Like a certain amount of art or a certain amount of writing? A form you fill out for all of them?
Yeah I do! For my mains I have to get them 20 pieces to test my attachment with them! Then, I start developing by sketching! I wouldn't be able to fill forms out because that gets a little boring for me.

What do you do AFTER you reach that goal, after you feel you've 'developed' the character. Do you just leave them at a standstill? Do you keep your characters/their development fluid?
After I develop them? I insert them into stories or hilarious situations!

All three, depending on what I'm up for! Atm, I use lineless face icons!

Verbal, nah. Punctuation showing up above their head when they think? Absolutely!

The reason why? I feel it describes how SSC feels on a daily basis.

Positive! Unlike most of my ocs, SSC loves themselves and feels confident in being who they are!

Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts?
SSC needs time to sort their thoughts, but not on the job! On the job it takes quick wit!

Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.
SSC is normally so busy they don't have dreams. If they did, they would win a badge of honor for being so faithful to their tasks.

Subway. That way they can talk with civilians and ask them if anything troubles them! They want to be able to help as much as possible.

Describe 5 unusual characteristics your muse has.
Flustered, Faithful, Easily Confused, Oblivious, Determined

If Stopsign-Chan ever gets overwhelmed they'd probably just. . .stop. I don't think would take a break, but they would most certainly stop.

SSC is always a team player! Bring on the dodge ball!

Can they multi-task or must they focus on one subject at a time?
SSC actually cannot multi-task, so they usually do focus on one thing at a time.

Their best subjects would be Home Economics, History, Economics, Politics, and Arithmetic
They aren't so good with Religion, The Arts, Computer Sciences, Biology, or Foreign Languages.

SSC is actually an ambivert , so they can handle big crowds well depending on how they are feeling.

Are they a leader, do they prefer to follow, or would they rather just stay on the sidelines altogether?
They are a follower! They wouldn't know what to do if they didn't have a partner!

If your character was suddenly challenged, would they rather run away or stay and fight?
SSC would totally fight! Fight for justice! Justice Fighter!!!11!!

SSC would murder who ever came up with the idea of murder. No death allowed here!

1. No Crime
2. Wait maybe a little crime I need stuff too do.
3. Okay, how about no crime from Sun-Wed, but little crime Thursday, lots of crime Friday, and Sat is a do what you want day?

Trusts people right off the bat! SSC believes trust given is trust received!

Do they prefer romance or affection? What is the quickest way to your character’s heart?
SSC isn't really interested in anything that can keep them from focusing on their job, but if you have a heart of justice they'd fall faster than a tsundere around a protagonist.

Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why?
No real enemies. After all, who wants to be enemies with a stop sign?

How does your character prepare for bed? Do they sleep at all or can they stay awake for days on end without trouble?
SSC makes sure that they get the appropriate amount of rest each day! If not, they could fail at their job and the citizens of the city certainly can be in trouble.

If your character had one thing to say to their parents before they died, what would it be?

Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?
SSC is afraid of death, because they know humans go to heaven, but where do stopsigns go?

Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?
SSC can favor silence because it gives them time to focus. Sometimes you can't even hear yourself think out in the streets.

Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why?

I think that a fursona in some way must represent the owner, preferably the entirety of the owner in some way. To me the fursona is the person made into a fluffy cartoon.

I think a fursona is simply just an non-human creature that represents the user in any way, shape or form!

Yes. My immediate family knows and my friends at school know (and have characters of their own too!)

What do you think of collab-adopts? Like where two people team up to win characters?
Those are neat, but unless I'm close with that person I usually don't do them just in case we are no longer friends. Then both the character's stories are somewhat ruined

How do you deal with art stealers?
Report deviation/art piece, give proof that you made it first, done. Most of the time, mobs come out and literally destroy users over this. It's actually quite brutal.

What is your favorite character and why?
What? Or Who? I'll answer both though!
What kind of favorite characters I like are the reserved ones who still have a personality. All because they're not the loudest doesn't mean they are emotionless, and those are my favorite.

Is any of your characters based off of something?
Everyone's is based off of something. So yeah, they are!

How do you come up with character names?
If I don't have them in my head before, I use baby name sites!

Unique species, although I don't like closes species that much species that aren't used often like badgers usually catch my eye.

ahhh, I really need some advice.

I entered a character contest and got p attached to the character I wrote, but ... there's someone else who I know is going to have really awesome form (don't ask how, I'm at least 95% sure) and I'm considering dropping. I can always recycle the personality I wrote + I don't have any art atm anyway so should I drop and just reuse the personality later? Or stay in and just take the 1/1000 chance I could win? I just don't really have the motivation to work on my form rn, and I have some commissions/other stuff anyway.
