Lionheart buried the vole, and looked around for the rest of the patrol, wondering how they were faring

She catched a two more birds, before walked toward river to drink. Her hunting patrol group was far gone and she was alone now. Sighing she looked at the forest, before turning to the branch she was hidded her catched prey. Taking them to her mouth she begin her way back to the camp.

He looked after when Rainstar turned back to the camp. Looking the borders he still followed the Darkstorm, even thought he knowed that he wasen't needed right now, but desiced to follow him all way. He knowed how it could feel for the patrol leader if his followers gets leaving to their own ways.

She looked at Dustfur then her mentor, giving a deep sight she nodded "Fine...There is not any better to do anyways" she meowed jumping to her paws.

snowpaw sat outside the apprentice's den and listened to the warrior scolding the young tabby. she shuffled her paws awkwardly, waiting for the young tom to be allowed to return to the apprentice den.

adderfang nodded silently, before nudging the vole between them both and taking a small bite, his whiskers quivering. he remembered sneaking out at night through a hole in the apprentice's den, and playing in the woods with another apprentice.

Once they were in camp and the apprentices had placed their kill on the fresh kill pile he opened his mouth to speak "You two are confined to the apprentice's den for the evening. Your mentors will be by later for other punishments if they so wish." he instructed. He was still angry they had left camp without any cat's knowing, though their intentions were good he will let their mentors know they should go a little easy on them. Once he saw them walk away he turned and looked for Lionheart, he knew Sageclaw would still be asleep so he would talk to the tom later. Then he spotted Whitekit outside of the nursery, maybe the large tom will have to talk to the medicine cat, to see if it Whitekit is ready for warrior training...

Dewwhisker looked at the vole between them and took a small bite after the tom had, she swallowed it immediately not wanting the taste to get in her mouth. Taking another quick bite, a little larger than the last made her chew it before swallowing. She licked at her maw to try and get the taste of the vole off her tongue "Thanks for sharing Adderfang! Don't think I could eat a whole piece of prey as I am already full." she smiled at him, hoping he did not catch her dislike of vole.

The light colored tom was now curled up in his stale nest, sleeping soundly. He did not need to wait long till sleep came to him, though he was looking forward to this evening. As he slept he stirred quietly occasionally but seemed to not make a sound.

adderfang smiled, "if course. i couldn't either, the prey seems to be running well." he took another swift bite of the vole and drew his tongue over his lip, clearing the scent of vole that stuck to his muzzle. he lifted one of his front paws and began to lick it. "i wonder what those two apprentices were thinking, they should know not to tooter off without their mentors, even if they are new in the game." the ginger tom meowed between strokes.

The she cat gave him a friendly nudge on his shoulder "Oh come on, you know as well as I do we both got out of camp as apprentice. They just did the mistake of getting caught." she chuckled mischievously. "They probably just got bored waiting around for their mentors." she meowed looking in that direction.

adderfang nodded and nudged her back with his muzzle. "of course i do!" he added, with a cheeky lash of his tail. "i would get bored of my mentor, well, i use to, like." the red tom corrected himself with a flick of his ear. "i need to go out and hunt soon, i don't want to eat all the prey and not contribute anything. y'can join me if you like, after all, you gulped down that vole too, but i'm sure you have other things to do, right?"
