Despite the situation, and how it probably couldn't have gotten worse, Izumi began to laugh. Looking at the man with his broken glasses, she knew this was no laughing matter to him, but she just simply hadn't ever seen someone get so angry about taking a little spill before. "I'm- I'm so s-sorry, sir, I-" she tried to contain her laughter and failed miserably. Clearing her throat, she began again, "I'm fine, everyone! Thank you all so much," Izumi said, taking the kind boy's hand and Taiga's assistance with a grateful smile, "Don't worry about me. Are you okay, sir?" She said, extending a hand towards the poor, unfortunate lab coat man who was now standing, yet still sputtering something angrily. A handshake was a good way to start an interaction, she remembered. This encounter may have gotten off on the wrong foot (literally!), but it may have been possible to salvage it yet. "If you want, I can get you some new glasses.Ooh, wait! Are you a scientist? A mad scientist?" Izumi had officially failed at composing herself, and began to giggle yet again.

I look over at my brother Xavier and roll my eyes. "Just cause your a vampire doesn't make you suddenly better than me at everything." I say to him and see his lips curl. "Well if you didn't have to be so stubborn all the time you might not have been cut." He says. I look down at my arm and grasp it. "It's not my fault that I actually care." I say. "Uh yeah it sorta is." He says and keeps walking. I take longer strides just so I can keep up with him. "Can you please stop walking so fast?" I ask rudely. "Fine. I'll go faster." He says and disappears. I look around and sigh. "Nice to know I have my own body guard..." I say softly and sarcastically. I keep walking. Clutching my coat around my self as I do.

There was literally no reason to go outside. But he did anyways, because who wanted to be holed up inside there house all day? Well- maybe Joel, but that guy was something else. Tourette was set for this lifetime, and probably many more, so there was no point in a job. He'd met a few people in town, but none really interested him except Joel- who again, was something else. Shrugging on his coat, the vampire stepped outside and began walking. In no direction in particular, just walking.

There was no use denying it. For the first time in months, Joel was flustered. "Lay off,' He growled, shoving a not-so-nice gesture in Nick's face once more. "And I'm a-" The man started, turning haughtily towards Izumi. But she wasn't far off- so the wind went out of his sails. Even he had to admit, he had some anger issues and was unstable.

Maybe the scientist man didn't like the nice boy so much, Izumi thought to herself, eyeing Taiga and shrugging as lab coat man stuck what Izumi would describe as quite a rude hand gesture into the other boy's face. This eccentric man was so entertaining to watch, and Izumi felt so lucky to meet so many interesting new friends on her first day. Her thoughts were interrupted by the angry man spinning around to end up directly in her face, as he began to say something before he stopped mid-sentence, "And I'm a-"
Izumi blinked twice, "A scientist. Yes, you're definitely a scientist. A scientist in need of some new friends, if I do say so myself. Say, Taiga," Izumi started, gesturing to the poor girl who had to stand by and watch this whole ordeal take place, "and I were just about to go grab a bite to eat. Or, we could get the scientist some new science glasses! Glasses shopping would be such a fun bonding activity. Still, you guys should join us now, we could all be friends! I mean, if you're not already doing anything. If you are, we could all find something to do another time! I think we all ran into each other for a reason, and I believe that reason to be going to a cute café we found that's closed for the moment. So, that'd happen another time, but..." Izumi stopped talking, realizing that she had rambled for quite a bit at that point, "Uhh, anyways, you guys should come with us now if you've the time! Who's up for it? I know I am!" She gave an encouraging smile and threw her hands in the air, hoping to coax them into going with her and Taiga. Yes, both of them probably had important things to do, but worst case they'd find another time to do something, if she could manage to wrangle them all together again. Worst case, if they couldn't manage anything now, Izumi was certain that they'd end up running into each other again, whether they wanted to or not.

I kept walking. Wondering if X would even come back to check up on me. But yet all we do anyways is fight. I sigh softly and make my way to the town. Maybe something there would make me at least a little interested other than the silence in the forest. I make my way down the path and walk along side the side walk. I put my jacket hood up and look around with my light blue eyes. I just hope that there wasn't a vampire around that was hungry at the moment.
I knew about vampires cause of my own brother. He's so stupid sometimes. Back before he was turned the last year, he was telling me to leave the house as soon as possible but I wouldn't listen. Sooner or later the door bell rang and X darted towards it. I sit up in my chair and listen to the voices but being me, I wanted to take a look for myself. X was arguing about something with them. Maybe money or something. I stood up and glanced around the corner to see what was going on and they smelt the air. "Who's here?" One asked. "No one." X said firmly. But by the time the vampire looked at me, he bit into X. I screamed and ran up the stairs to my bed room and slammed the door. I heard the foot steps along the walls out side of my room so I ran to the window. Thinking Xavier was dead brought sadness into my soul. So I jumped.
My eyes fluttered as I try to focus on where I was going because I was very close to stepping off of the curb and onto the road. I catch myself and sway to the left.

He was genuinely dumbstruck by this girl's innocence and friendliness. The look on his face now was of the highest surprise- in otherwords, he probably looked very, very stupid. Quickly composing himself, he spoke. "Thanks for the offer, girly, but I have to get so-" Once more, he stopped. The man was fingering the broken glasses in his coat pocket. He couldn't see three feet in front of himself without em'. "I need new glasses..." Joel said miserly, hanging his head and giving a pitiful sigh. "I literally cannot see without them... So if I go sprawling again, over any of you- whether it be human or animal, I will lose it." He deadpanned, staring straight at the fuzzy fox with an accusing glare.

Why did he wear a jacket? It was so hooooot outside... With a defeated sigh, he shrugged it off and slung it over his shoulder. The vampire hated taking it off- exposing himself. By no means was he unattractive or hideous, just self-conscious. Walking once more, with a heavy step, he came across what at first glance he believed to be a drunkard. Rushing forward to steady the other, a hand on his back, he said with some amusement: "Have one to many?" Tourette gave a small smile, revealing a tiny bit of his fangs. "Or just having a horrible day?"

Izumi clapped her hands together excitedly after the blond boy agreed. Food was so close that she could almost taste it. 3/4 of them was close enough, and she was really starting to get hungry... but she still felt guilty about breaking that guy's glasses. She weighed her options, and shot a few brief glances at Taiga and the blond boy.
"Well," Izumi began, turning to the scientist, "My offer still stands. You sure you don't want to friendship bond over glasses shopping? It'd be on me, since i'm the one responsible for breaking them. If not, I promise I will find a way to pay you back for them."
It'd be fine if he said no, but she felt guilty for being the one at fault for breaking the glasses, and was more than a little concerned about his safety if he really couldn't see too well without them. But, she'd put the option out there again just to make sure, and it was still entirely up to him.

I quickly stop and look up at the man standing in front of me. I smile softly after I see him smile first. I shrug, "Just having a horrible day." I say and then notice the small fangs from his smile. I look back up at his eyes, wondering if he saw that I noticed them. "I mean, my brother left just a little bit ago but he should be coming back soon... Hopefully that is..." I say then realized that sounded kind of rude. "I'm lost. I've never been here and my brother has. I just want him to get back so I know where I'm going." I say quickly.
