From the window, she could see Scott, focused on something, but she couldn't tell what, "Scott?" he probably didn't hear her, "are you okay?"

"Well, that's the way it's going to be right now, because I don't know any different. Tell me what happened, and maybe we can make light of this," he finally reached the top of the roof, taking her hand, and sat on the ledge.

She took her hand from him and looked him over, "I don't wanna make light out of it." She put her hand next to his face and focused on creating flames. A small fire danced around her fingers, making swirls and patterns at her will. "But you can make light out of this." She smiled.

"I'm alright, yeah. Uh what floor are you on?" He called up, a small blush on his face.

She looked back down to him, "second floor, and it's the only door that looks relatively decent, we used to have a welcome mat, but someone stole it," she blushed at her own rambling.

"Fire huh?" He looked up at the sky, "so putting two and two together, you're ordinary friend has been protecting you, and trying to hide your powers with you?" He coudn't resist the urge, and reached out to touch the dancing flame, surprised when it didn't burn him.

She watched him reach for the flames, she smiled and willed them to curl around his arm. The drew back quickly, "So, Mr. Rogers why are you in Dallas?"

"Second floor? Man I was counting to like twelve and crap." He walked towards the door and headed for the stairs.

She waited for Scott, but she could him pounding up the stairs. She looked back out of the window, and up, "hey Coal?" She tried to ask this in the normalest way she could muster, "can you tell what the robins up there are fighting about? Cause they won't shut up, and it's getting annoying."

"Well, sometimes you just need a break from being Captain America, and Ant Man, what about you? You seem to be used to the place, how long have you been here?"

Looking around she found the bird and snapped at them, "Can you shut up please?" Then she looked back at Steve, "I've been here for lets see... 2 years? Maybe... Ella how long have we been here?" Her light brown eyes darted around, looking for a quick escape. Hopefully Ella knew she was ready to go, and had a plan.

He had just made it to the second floor when he heard Ella scream something about robins from down the hall. He laughed and followed her voice, the door was open. Walking in the man looked around.

"Uh," she had to think for a second, "one year and nine months," the robins would not shut their mouths, "is everything okay out there? Because I'm going to have to close the window, because those birds are hurting my brain," she put her hands over her ears, trying to block out the nonsensical voices that were assaulting her hearing.

"What're you looking at?" He noticed her eyes darting, even after she had found the birds, "does she not like birds chirping, or am I out of the loop on something?"

She looked dead at him her eyes dark, "Look I like you and all, but if there's a loop right now you are out of it. Matter of fact you will be about of all my loops, because we are never seeing each other after this."

He walked into a room after hearing voices, finding Ella standing by an open window hands on her ears. "Uhhh are you alright?" He asked uneasily.

"Uh, I think you just asked me if I'm okay," she removed her hands from her ears, and closed the window, "and, um, well, it's a really long story, but I'll be fine after I take some tylenol," she explained quickly, trying not to stammer over her words.

His face turned hard as he looked at her, "I hope you realize I can't just let you walk away. You obviously have something going on that you can't control, and I can't let you keep walking around, endangering other people's lives."
