My mother died because she chose Goldenpaw over me." he smiled. "Goldenpaw doesn't know why I attacked him. But when my mother had to choose between me, her eldest who had recently been exiled, or her young, lame, no good kit, she chose him." he looked around. "and now, father has abandoned his third child. He told me he will not come back from this "visit." a loner told me he had dropped a kit off to die. Me and silverkit share a pain Goldenpaw has never experienced! " he called. "i come to tell you that this kit is either dead or here to stay. Sandclaw and bluemint won't come back for her." with that, bloodWolf darted away, into the undergrowth.

Sorrelpaw flinches at Bloodwolf's monologue. She felt even worse for Silverkit. She had barely even had a chance at life, and her parents already left her for dead. At least Sorrelpaw got to spend 4 moons with her family before.. it happened. She frowns, peeking through the wall at the grey kit curled up near Gullstep. It wasn't fair to her for her parents to leave her, but it wasn't fair to Goldenpaw that his brother hated him for something he had no control over. And it wasn't fair to Bloodwolf that everyone hated him because of how he acted. Maybe he just doesn't know how to express his pain. Sorrelpaw sighed, then finishes with the patch she was working on.

Moving to groom the kit gently the queen suddenly winced. She was beginning to feel a cramping pain -- worse than just when the kits were kicking around inside her.

Following Threeleg out of the camp Crabwhisker cast a glare back the rouge in their camp before his gaze softened as he looked back at the nursery. He hoped no one would try any funny business while he was away. "Let us make haste. I feel uneasy with that rouge in our camp."
