Hey Dave! It's Shadow.Flame, or better known as Soulfirewolf. So I'm weak, and I wanted to our for 3 out of the 4 of the dog RPW's tht you created, as i had a concept for all three of them. I don't expect to win all three, although it would be amazing if that happened. I used my own RPws as adoptive parents, so it'll be easier to develop them in my own way and own time when I have the time to. I own 25 RPWs, and although I'm not trying to hoard them, you keep making fantastic designs and I can't help myself. Well, enough about me, onto my form! I hope you enjoy it, and I apologize it's rather long.

Carter, to start off with, is a friendly dork that loves to meet new people. She can be quite obnoxious at times, but nothing too over the top. She has a love of the arts, such as music and singing and putting on shows and such, however she tends to keep that to herself as something to do im the freetime. The only thing she happens to lack is any kind of athleticism, which is unfortunate for her because she wishes she could be good at sports to show off and try to beat the other guys at school. Carter is quite the prideful little tomboy that tries to be a show off and tends to fail. She also tries to be a rebel like some of the other kids at school, like trying to stay up past her bedtime, sneak out of the house, or do something she didn't tell her parents about. Well, that only ends up in her regretting staying up late and not doing it for awhile because she's tired and crabby, being too scared to go too far from the house and sneaking back inside, and the worst place she's gone was the skatepark and her parents were aware of her whereabouts. Carter wants to be this popular tough sports girl, she thinks that they're amazing and that she should be like that. I mean, who wouldn't want to be feared yet adored by so many, that's how Carter sees it. She acts tough, rude, and like she's good at everything, unfortunately most others don't exactly enjoy that. She really is a sweetheart, though. She doesn't mean any harm and she loves to be in a group of others.

Cameron is a young and energetic rpw that is filled with that childlike innocence and filled with wonder. She has the same adventurous fire as Cameron, however being younger she sees it in everything. She has an overactive imagination, and still has multiple imaginary friends that the young pup swears she can see. Cameron has her own fantasy land she plays in, with her main 'familiar' being her cat companion Diamond. Cameron is quite open with her fantasy land, explaining it to everyone and anyone who will listen. She is quite the chatterbox to the point it's annoying, however she doesn't seem to care much. Cameron is very naive about things, being overly trusting of anyone and not noticing the dangers lurking everywhere. She sees life as a game, as nothing more than something to enjoy. She hasn't seen anything too serious, and with Azrael being an author, she's taught to embrace this attitude of hers. Cam can be quite the sassy girl if it comes down to it. She may not be the queen of sass or anything, but it is in fact enough to get on her siblings nerves. Despite this she doesn't usually try to aggravate them, and likes things to be peaceful. She dislikes thinks that ruin her peace, like screamo 'music' (she doesn't view screaming as music,), fighting, whining, etc. In her 'kingdom,' fighting is now allowed and is punishable by no cookies for a week. (which is the worst thing for her.) She tends to go a bit overboard with this fantasy land of hers, it led to an obsession with keys and a decrease in her grades at school. She believes that keys can unlock everything and anything, so she searches for the correct key that will open up her world to everyone else's eyes. Cam deeply believes that she can show others what she sees every day, the magic and wonder if her world. This magic tends to take her focus away from her school, and she's usually starig off into space or finding excuses to get her out of class so she can go check out what she's seen.

Cronan isn't quite like the other two, he's rather quiet and serious. He's more of a homebody, the only time he actually leaves is for school and with his two sisters. He's rather boring when he's with others, but on his own he carries the same imagination his siblings do, only after spending so much time with Azrael. Azrael opened up a whole new world for him, you'll find more information about their relationship later on though. He found his true calling, robotics. He has this natural way with anything technology, being able to build things like computers and functional robots. Cronan even built his own companion that he loves to mess around with and upgrade. Cronan tends to keep these things to himself, however, not willing to show others what he excels in. Cronan spends a lot of his time shut in his room because of this, but he doesn't seem to mind. It's the place he feels the safest, and it's where he works his best. He isn't the most organized, however. Poor Cronan has a tendency to lose things, even if they aren't technically 'lost.' He has a good memory, until it comes to finding what he needs, then it's nonexistent. He tries hard to keep it clean, and tries hard in anything and everything he does, except in sports. He isn't very athletic in any way, and it's quite embarrassing when he tries. He gets picked on

3 lives intertwined by chance, how meaningless and trivial it seemed at first. How nothing seemed to fit at first, the pieces of the puzzle scattered, until finally each one came together at last to become whole. Our story begins through the eyes of a young lass, left at the orphanage ever since she was born to a mother who was not yet ready for motherhood...

"Carter! Get off of there, you're going to hurt yourself!" A shrill voice called from below, almost inaudible, I was so high! I felt myself giggle, I loved the roof. I was never allowed up, but I didn't care. It felt free up here, I was much closer to the stars that danced above me, to the moon that illuminated the night... oh if only it were night! Unfortunately for me the sun grinned down at me, seeing my misfortune. The sun shone onto my golden heart locked and gave me away almost instantly every time, however i refused to take it off. The claws-on-a-chalkboard voice sounded again, this time much angrier. "Carter, I said get down!" she hissed. I sighed. "Yes mistress." I muttered, sliding down flawlessly, my blue scarf and blowing in the wind as I did so. I landed on the ground with a thump, standing proudly in my 7-year-old glory. "But I like being up there!" I whined, pinning my ears back as she growled at me. "Get back inside." She muttered, I sensed she was more relieved than angry that I hadn't fallen this time. Ah well, I went inside anyway and sighed, I had been here for 6 years, almost 7. I was ready to be out, although I really couldn't complain. It could always be worse. I stared at the burning sun, glaring at it for ratting me out. Another girl padded up next to me, she was much younger than I was and hadn't been here very long, her mother died of cancer from what I heard, and her father was nowhere to be found. "Hey Cameron." I smiled, she always made me feel better. She was only about 3, but she became one of my best little buddies. "Carterrrrr!" She grinned, rolling around and bopping me on the nose. I giggled. "Hey Cam." I repeated, bopping her nose in return. She giggled. "Baku and Mica say hi too!" She added, and I rolled my eyes playfully. "Where are they at?" I whispered, and as she pointed over to the corner I waved. "Hello Baku, hello Mica." I responded, this pleased my little buddy.

Meanwhile...

Run. Gotta go. Don't stop.I had to keep going, if I stopped I was as good as dead. He was coming, it was horrifying. "Dad, please, stop!" I begged, a sudden wall blocking my way as he approached, snarling madly. "Father I'm sorry!" I cried, gasping as he lunged. I awoke in a small hospital room, breathing heavily, but I was safe now. "You're awake now, good evening." A woman said, her sudden presence making me gasp. "Oh, I'm sorry to startle you Cronin. Unfortunately, I bring bad news." She stated, and I winced. More bad news. My presence seemed to attract it. "Your father pulled a knife on one of the cops at the scene, he-" I held a paw up, and she silenced. I knew what she was going to say. "So I'm an orphan now?" I asked, my voice low and rather chilling, even to myself. She nodded. "I'm sorry Cronin, I know this must be hard." She replied. She showed no emotion, I wonder how many times she's done this. "Not as hard as my mothers death, I only just got over that, it's been 2 years." I said harshly. It occured to me she was unaware of what my father had done to me, what a shame nobody understood like I did. "...what happens now?" I asked quietly. "Well, once you've recovered, you'll be taken to the orphanage. You'll find a new home, you're young. Parents love young." She stated. I sighed, this didn't feel right. Why couldn't I just be alone? I lived fine for the most part when I was alone. Nevertheless, I nodded. "Ok."

a few days later

"Carter, I heard someone else is coming. A boy about your age!" Cameron said eagerly, wagging her little tail and sitting next to me. "Oh, that's unfortunate." I replied, but I was quite interested. after all, it could mean a new friend. "Alright, when is he supposed t-" I was cut off by the bell, which signified someone either coming into or leaving the orphanage. Cameron and I made our way to the front, among the others here. "He looks scary..." Cameron whispered. I nudged her. "I know but you don't just say those things." I scolded. She hushed. When everyone else had gone, the kid but kind of stood there, so being the good wolf I am i padded up to him. "Hey there, I'm Ca-" "Don't care." he replied, totally cutting me off. I frowned. "Carter." I finished, ignoring his rude behavior. "And you are?" "None of your buisness." He growled. I flattened my ears. "Me. Grump, alright. That works too. This is Cameron, I just" "why are you still here?" He huffed, I found myself growling slightly, and I saw him stiffen up a bit. I stopped, seeing he got nervous. "Alright Mr.Grump. If you need anything I'm upstairs, third room on the right." I said nudging Cameron to come up with me. I walked away, until I realized Cam wasn't with me. I glanced back, she was holding up a tiny stuffed bear that she always had with her, setting it next to Mr.Grump. He seemed to soften for a moment, before he stiffened up again. "Cam!" I called out. This time she got up and joined me, for now we would leave him alone.

Meanwhile...

"Azrael, can we please try?" A young, feminine voice begged. The hope in her eyes shone, a begging smile only adding to her wishful expression. "I don't think it's the right time, besides I told you about my idea..?" A male voice replied. He looked caringly at the light brown female, the same caring look in his eyes. "Adopting is better, at least for now. I think applying for a child who doesn't have a home would be best, we could always have our own. This could change their lives." Azrael stated. "Come on Averil, I don't think we're ready for a baby yet. Heck, we're not even ready for a life in general, but if you think we can do it all I ask is that we know what we're doing, and not accept too much?" "Deal."

a few months have passed, Azrael and Averil have finally visited the orphanage, they were prepared.

"Carter, Carter! A momma and a daddy are coming today, maybe this time is it!" Cameron cried, running over to me. I smirked. "Alright, if you think so! Why don't you try to get Cronan and the others, I know some are still in their rooms." I stated, smiling excitedly. I felt my tail wag a bit, one of us would be getting out of here. I made my way to the room I heard them talking in, and I listened. They seemed so nice, they couldn't have been bad, and young too. Early twenties, I would think. As I listened, I lost my balance on the stairs and found myself falling, right into their view. "Uh oh" I muttered, I could hear Cameron's snickering behind me, as well as that 'I'm not surprised' sigh from Cronan. A few other kids were there, watching in horror, this hasn't happened before. The female smiled, however, and muttered something to her partner, who stared at me with a judging expression. I sat up, my heart racing slightly. "Well, looks like I fell for you guys!" I stayed, repeating something I had heard other people say when they've fallen in front of something. The female chuckled, and the male cracked a small smile. I stood and looked to Cameron and Cronan, who were right behind me in a moments notice. I saw the female point to them and ask a question or two, the male shaking his head and muttering something to the female. They had a staring contest, I think. They locked eyes for a long time before the male sighed and seemed to lose. The caretaker glared at us, shooting us a look that probably meant 'get away' or something like that, so we did. The couple left, and I sighed.

And then I woke up the next morning to see them back, requesting to talk to Cam, Cronan and I. And then I knew, something deep down inside me, I was going home.

How do others react to Carters neck?
Carter adores her neck ability and uses it to freak people out. She loves bending it backward when someone is behind her and giving them a friendly smile, or laughing as she sees others attempt to do it as well. She has gotten a few rude comments about it, and has been called a freak, but she didn't really care. She sees it as the thing that sets her apart from everyone else. She found friends that appreciate and admire her talent. Carter doesn't know what all others think, but she knows that there are people that think she's weird, and then there are others that think this is the best thing since sliced bread.It doesn't matter to her, how they view her neck and it never will. She likes it and that's all that matters.

Very short story for Carter || first person POV
"She's such a freak, why does she do that?" I heard someone say. "I don't know but it's weird" another responded. They acted as if I couldn't hear them, as if I weren't there. It was actually more amusing than upsetting, they were wasting their own energy to talk about me! I bent my neck back, they both gasped. I smiled, turning around to look 'normal' and gave my excited input. "WOW!" I started. "I just can't believe you guys were talking about me, it's such an honor to be your topic of conversation! Really, such an honor, but I would prefer if it were in a positive manner, thank you very much. See, you don't see me talking about how messy your hair looks today..." I said to one, then turned my attention to the other. "or how your outfit clashes together, you look like a Christmas elf that was meant for summer." I said, and although I personally don't think it made sense they seemed to get my point. I turned back around and chuckled, fixing my beanie and adjusting my scarf, and resumed my constant daydream instead of paying attention in class.





How does Cronan feel about his fur?
Cronin despises his hair, but only because others have a tendency to tug on it or ask to mess with it. It's actually rather annoying when your sisters 8 year old friends come up to you, squealing excitedly and asking to braid your really long fur, or your little brother decides to purposely pull on it to get your attention. He also burned it once, he was using a blowtorch for a project and a few strands of hair managed to peek out from his gloves and get burned. It did end up growing back and he suffered only a small burn. It is a bit troublesome at times, but other than these instances he doesn't really seem to care. It doesn't bother him on a normal basis, and he never worried about doing it. It's just kind of there.





Does Cameron like to prank others?
Actually, no. She highly dislikes it actually. She's much too lazy and can't stay focused long enough to pull a good prank. The worst thing he's ever done was put a bucket full of gummy worms above the door, and even that she quit because even with a chair she couldn't reach the top of the door, so much for an April fools day prank. Instead she ate the gummy worms and wandered around outside to play with her 'imaginary' friends. Cam doesn't have any reason to want to pull pranks, either. She spends so much time in her own little world that she doesn't really pay attention to anything else. Why bother pulling a prank when you could be with your friends, fighting evil or ruling a kingdom?

Averil had always wanted children, but adopting wasn't always something that crossed her mind until she met these three and she knew that they would change her life forever. Averil is a caring mother that tries to teach them how to have an optimistic view on life and a caring touch towards the earth.

Azrael | Owned by me | Adoptive father


Azrael is an author of many different childrens books, and he spends a lot of time in his own room trying to write when he can. He doesn't usually realize that days go by and he hasn't left his room, so for the first few days the three didn't believe he was actually real and that they imagined his existence. After leaving his cave a few times, he started to come out more frequently and grow closer to the kids.

Barron| Owned by me | Adoptive younger brother


When they were first adopted, Barron hadn't been around just yet. When Cameron was about 5, Barron came into the picture. He was accepted almost immediately by Cameron and Carter, heck who wouldn't want a little brother to mess with? Cronan, on the other hand, didn't like Barron at first. He believed he would be replaced by the tiny bundle of dark gray fluff. Cronan refused to see him, and refused to come out of his room. It wasn't until Averil talked to him about it that Cronan started to accept little Barron, and even let him into his room once. Once. Barron has a tendency to tug on Cronans fur... A lot. Cronan got annoyed and shooed him out, but still tolerates him. Currently, Barron is about 3 or 4 years old.


Carter and Barron have a good relationship, nothing to abnormal about it. They aren't the closest, however Carter deemed Barron her 'gamer buddy' so the two spend hours in a dark room playing various video games together. Carter loves it because not only is she spending time with her younger brother, she's guaranteed a win since he doesn't really know how to play any of the games. Barron loves watching Carter, or more of the TV. He thinks the graphics are amazing and it pleases him. Other than that the two don't exactly interact, since Barron spends most of his time with Cameron and she spends most of her time with friends from school. When they get older, however, Barron will have learned how to play the games Carter plays and will start to beat her, which makes Carter a 'proud mom' that will want to 'crush her son into the ground' as the play head to head. Barron also convinces Carter to get her friends over to play sports, something he can never get Cronin to do. He loves Carter and actually looks up to her, and she sees him as her little apprentice that she feels like she needs to protect at all times.




Barron and Cameron have always had a great relationship. The two rarely fight, always play with one another, and treat each other like any parent would want their children to act with one another. Ever since Barron was little, she has always loved putting bows on him. She would sneak up and stick a bow on his back, or tie it to his tail, then giggle as he walked around the house with it. Barron, being the little guy he is, loved the random attention and gladly waddled around with these giant, orange, sparkle bows attached to him. Even as they grew older, Barron would gladly wear them in public and disregard any odd looks he received from others. The best thing these two have, however, is the imaginary world that Cameron can always see. Little kids have the ability to see everything, even things adults can't see. Up until Barron was around 9 years old, he was also able to see these imaginary friends of Cameron. The two would explore all around together. Unfortunately, Barron ends up losing the ability once he became more active in sports and other things, upsetting Cameron. Nonetheless, their bond will always be a strong one, even as adults.




Even after a few years, Barron still loves to tug on and mess with his older adoptive brother. Cronin despises what he does, however he can't deny he loves the kid. Cronin has tried to teach Barron how to do what he [ Cronin ] likes to do, however, Barron never seemed to be interested. They don't interact much right now, but Barron is young and has time to grow and mature and get on Cronins good side. In fact, when they're older, say Barron is about 7 or so, he learned to not tug on Cronins fur, as he learned it is quite annoying, and began to take more interest in what Cronin does. Barron is quite the opposite from Cronin, however, at this point taking more of a liking to sports rather than robotics and technology and stuff, and sometimes tries to get Cronin to play a game of baseball, kickball, or and other kind of game with him. Cronin usually says no, however the one time he said yes he tripped over his own fur trying to run to first base. That was the first and most likely last time he ever tried to play a sport kind of game with Barron. Overall their relationship is normal, nothing too close and nothing too far apart. They get along at times and fight at other times, like brothers always do.

Cameron with Carter
These two have known each other for quite some time, and they love each other to no end. Carter wouldn't let them be sepetated, it was either take the two together or choose a different kid. Being sisters they have their fights and such, but it's not common. Carter loves playing around with Cameron and her imaginary friends, and although a she thinks it's odd that Cam still has these imaginary friends, but at the same point Carter doesn't care. Cam and Carter believe wholeheartedly they are sisters, and you can't tell them otherwise. "Just because you aren't related by blood, doesn't mean you aren't sisters."

Cameron with Cronan
Cameron and Cronan started off not really interacting, Cameron trying but overall getting shot down by Cronan. Eventually, over time, the two grew somewhat close. Cronan found her imaginary friends extremely odd and unnatural, and commonly tried to convince Cam they weren't real. When he failed, he just kind of allowed whatever, but never went along with it. Now they have a decent relationship, and although it could be better they don't fight unless Cameron attemps to stuck a bow in Cronans fur.

Carter and Cronan aren't as close as Cameron is with either of them, however they do get along just fine. Carter has a respect for Cronan and his personal space, so they usually work out just fine. Once and awhile Carter might try to mess with him, it's what siblings do, but Cronan is quite carefree so he isn't usually bothered unless it hurts him or destroys a project of his. They do love each other, even if they don't admit it, and both look out for one another as siblings should.

Zinnia || owned by me || Best friend
So, one day Zora came running over to Carter, all scared and concerned. Not far behind, waddled a young pup resembling Zora, and Cam didn't really question it, nor did she care. She decided she would befriend the pup and that's exactly what she did. They have a few years between them, it's kind of like Zora and Carter, except flipped. Cam doesn't see Zinnia as often as she would like, but when they do meet they have loads of fun together, Zinnia even bringing Cam into some fairy princess games and such, where they have fun until it's time for Zinnia to go. They tell one another stories from 'their worlds,' they never seem to get tired of it. These two are close, and once they're older and Cam gets more freedom, she plans on visiting Zinnia more often in the pokemon world when she can.

Carter
Zora || Owned by me || Best friend
Zora and Carter met when they were younger, when Zora first decided she wanted to come out of a video game. Zora was exploring around, not really knowing what to expect. That's when she saw Carter, skating along and Zora decided it was a good idea to follow her. Note: don't ever follow Carter, there is a possibility she'll think you're a stalker and she will hurt you. Once Carter noticed the small black-furred wolf following her, she got a little uneasy and skated into an ally, where she was followed by Zora. Zora didn't expect to have the tiny pup pinning her down, snarling im her face. Zora was terrified, and if it event for Carters beanie they may not have been friends to this day. As Carter growled at Zora, her beanie, it was much too big for her head at the time, slid down and onto Zoras face. The two being young thought this was amusing, and it gave Zora time to explain why she had been following Carter. Carter didn't think it was odd or that Zora was crazy when she said she could teleport into games, no she thought that was the coolest thing. Carter took Zora over to her house and they played in the pokemon world for awhile, where Carter was able to start her own team. Ever since then, these two have been inseparable.

Zinnia || Owned by me
Zinnia and Carter have a mutual relationship, they don't really spend much time with one another. Carter finds it odd that Zora somehow has a spawn, although she doesn't question it. Zora doesn't seem to be too concerned, so Carter isn't. Zinnia tends to stay with Cameron, and that's fine with Carter. She does think Zinnia is an adorable little kid, though, and does (secretly) watch out for her when it's just her over and not Zora.

Persephone || Owned by me
Percy and Carter met when Carter was roaming around one summer day and ran into the fox-like gardener. They hit it off right away, actually. Percy was more interested in trying to stump the child with riddles or in her maze of deathly plants, but Carter didn't really pay much attention to that. With Carters friendly attitude, and Percy's tendency to deceive people, they seemed to be just fine with one another as Carter didn't really care what Percy was doing as long as it didn't hurt her. Percy ended up not being able to get Carter to come into the maze of hers, but they did befriend one another.
