The striped tom made his way back to camp through the forest, a small squirrel gripped tightly in his jaws. Some of the scents lingering there seemed to be unfamiliar, so he stopped every so often to scan the area for intruders. His tail swept from side to side as he entered camp and looked around wearily. He knew that the clan must already have known about the strange scents being that Rowanheart seemed to be focused on the nursery. His green gaze landed on Foxpaw and Cedarpaw and the tom let out a small, annoyed snort as he turned towards the prey pile. He put the squirrel down on top of the pile before taking a step back to admire his work.

She gently picked up Flowerkit and walked out of the den, over to the nursery where she placed Flowerkit inside of her nest. She would decide on punishment later.
