Izumi Chihiro
Izumi placed the last moving box down on the floor of her new home with a large thud. She let out a deep breath, slumped against the box, and slowly slid to the floor. All of her belongings were inside her new place, and she couldn't have been more thankful that that tedious process was finally over. After taking a minute to catch her breath, she determined that it wouldn't be the worst thing to just take a break for a little bit, and go explore the city. Izumi took a brief glance around at all of the boxes, that she was proud to say she had brought in herself. Yes, she deserved this brief intermission as a reward. Right? Right. Plus, she'd have to see the city sooner or later anyways, so why not now? Something had brought her to the City of Ashes- whether fate, fortune, or a moving van- and she was not going to make waste of the time she had here.
Promising herself that she'd be back in time to begin unpacking enough to get herself to bed with, Izumi heaved her tiny body off of the floor, brushed off her clothes, and checked her reflection in the window.
"Izumi Chihiro: adventuress, vampire investigator, and beloved TV personality, ready to take on the City of Ashes!"
She shrugged, the latter 2/3 of those things were good enough for her, although even they may have been a bit of an exaggeration, a small confidence boost was never a bad thing.
She turned, grabbed her handbag, and headed out the door, making sure to lock it behind her as she went. What new wonders would this strange city hold for her?

She looked around her new room, it was big... bigger then she expected it to be anyways. Her stuff still hasn't arrived yet, it was gonna be at least another day till that happens. She sighed out loud, at least she had her best friend with her. "Should we go out for a walk? See whats around?" She turned to her rabbit, Momo, who replied with a nod of her head. She smiled and stood up, "Okay lets go! Maybe we'll make some friends...". She made her way for the door, Momo no to far behind.

It was bright and humid, he didn't want to wake up, but he had no choice. He had things to do, things that he really didn't want to do. He wasn't a fan of morning, like most vampires, even though he was half human, it still bothered him. His curtains were down, he never raised them, though the sun somehow still found its way in. He sighed with annoyance, he headed for the bathroom, turned on his shower and undressed, not bothering to close the door. Whats the use? No one lives here but himself... and Fuzz wouldn't give a damn about it. (Lol)

She was still half asleep as she sat behind the counter of a small cafe, very few customers have come in. She yawned, rubbing her eyes with the sleeves of her sweatshirt. Yin was sleeping on her lap, purring loudly, and Yang like always walked around the cafe, letting people pet him. It was a lazy morning, not to mention hot. though she didn't bother taking of her sweatshirt. "Life is so boring sometimes...." she muttered to herself.

Making her way down the street, Izumi couldn't help getting sidetracked. There were so many new faces, and cute shops! She resisted the urge to enter one and buy something, considering she already had enough unpacking to do at her new home as it was. Home. She guessed that that's what she could call it now, considering she literally lived there, but it still felt a little weird. She had only lived one place prior to this, and calling another place home almost felt like betrayal.
But now was not the time to think of her old home, and Izumi decided to focus her attention elsewhere: the beautiful buildings, the glorious sunshine, the adorable rabbit...
Izumi stopped short in her tracks. She had to pet that rabbit.
She slowly approached the bunny and it's owner, who appeared to be a girl somewhere around her age.
"Hello!" Izumi said, giving her best smile in hopes of making a new friend, "Is this rabbit yours? Do you mind if I pet it?"

She was a little startled at the sound the strangers voice, turning abruptly towards her. "H-huh?! Oh... yes, I don't mind..." she said, a little hesitation in her words. The girl looked to be around her age, maybe this was her chance to make a friend? "U-Um... Im Taiga..." She stammered a little, her face turned red with embarrassment. "May I ask what your name is...?" She shied away a little, for fear of the girl thinking she was weird.

Izumi bent down and gently stroked the rabbit's back while looking up at Taiga, "It's nice to meet you! My name is Izumi Chihiro. Hey, uh... I'm kind of new around here, I actually still have to unpack! But, anyways, I don't really know the area, so if you know of a cute café or some place to eat, and you're not already doing something, maybe we could go grab a bite real quick?" Izumi gave a reassuring smile, and quickly added, "I mean, if you're cool with that, I just think it'd probably be good to get to know others who live in the area." She didn't want to pressure Taiga into anything, so she left the option open. Worst case, they'd hopefully agree to maybe meet up another time and chill, or something. Hopefully.

Her face lit up with happiness, "Of course Ill go with you!" She announced with joy… only to realize that she was also new to this town. "Um... I don't really know of any cafe's, but we could go look around for one." She suggested. "We might find something nice..." she smiled and pointed towards the center. "Maybe in the middle their could be something."

He got out, his blnde hair now soaked. He put on green shorts and an orange tank-top. He didn't bother brushing his hair, instead just tied it in a ponytail. "Time to go I guess..." he said to no one in perticular as he put on his sneakers, as well as putting his headphones. "Fuzz you comming?" He called to the half-asleep fox, who stood up with drowsiness. Nick waited for him and then headed out the door, music playing on full blast.

At this point she was bored out of her mind, their was nothing to do but sit here and stare at everything. "Why did I take this job..." she pouted and put her head on the table. Yin was still on her lap purring and totally not bothered by boredom. "How do you guys deal with this..." she wondered to herself. "I sure cant..."

There was literally no reason to go outside. But he did anyways, because who wanted to be holed up inside there house all day? Well- maybe Joel, but that guy was something else. Tourette was set for this lifetime, and probably many more, so there was no point in a job. He'd met a few people in town, but none really interested him except Joel- who again, was something else. Shrugging on his coat, the vampire stepped outside and began walking. In no direction in particular, just walking.

Damn. Why did he need to go outside today? Joel was so close to actually making something work! But he ran out of fuel. Grumbling to himself, the man hastily wiped his hands on his lab coat and threw open the door, scurrying outside. The professor walked with purpose, face set in a sort of scowl. It was nothing out of the ordinary, everyone who lived here for a few years knew Joel and they knew he was usually pissed off about one thing or another. Today was no exception.

"Ugh, it's to bright out today..."He groaned, as he put his hood over his head, it was hot, but anything was better then the suns glare. Fuzz was right behind him, he wasn't as bothered by the sun, unlike his owner. "Heh, lucky beast." He commented, the music still drumming in his ears. The faster he got his chores over with, the faster he could get back home to sleep.
