Description- Alec's hologram manifests as a teenager who could be anywhere from 14 to 20. He has spiked, light brown hair and iris-less eyes, and wears a blue hoodie emblazoned with a power button symbol, along with regular jeans. His legs dissolve into pixels at the ends, mostly because he wants to make the most of the hologram's size limits. His hologram requires a special add-on to manifest as a "hard holo" and physically interact with the environment, and he's only authorized to use it at certain times, so he's usually pretty harmless, despite having a sharp tongue.
Personality- While he's not that bad to be around most of the time, his depressing attitude, sarcastic comments, and tendency to casually show shocking visuals on his hologram ensure that he doesn't have many friends. It's not much of a secret that he's incredibly envious of the androids, who have physical bodies, and he annoys the engineers a lot to try and convince them to make him one. Alec likes to play loud music in the middle of the night and "trust fall" people who aren't used to him, among other things. He has a very short attention span, thanks to his tendency to do seventy different things at once.
Abilities- Alec can access the ship's databank at will, as well as download himself onto smaller devices for transportation. If he's connected to the Internet, he can access files there as well, but there isn't any Internet out here, so that's a moot point. His job is to manage the ship's idle functions, as well as carry out commands from the crew members. High-ranking crew can activate a command prompt overriding his personality cortex and forcing him to follow commands when he's acting uncooperative. If the files constituting Alec's programming are deleted or tampered with, he malfunctions, and if enough files are permanently deleted it would effectively kill him.

Backstory ;; Alyssa Leray could not count the days she had waited for the Zodiac to be
finished. Her father, being one of the aeronautical engineers on the team [not on board
on the Zodiac at time of launch], came home everyday with exciting news about the
progress of the ship. Alyssa had always been fascinated by the wonders of space. Alyssa
Leray did all that she could to become part of the crew of the Zodiac when it was finished.
She finally got a job offer to become a navigator/pilot for the ship. In a heart beat, she
accepted. She had no idea they'd be taking a pit stop at a new planet.
Personality ;; Alyssa is a very friendly person. She likes to introduce herself to other
people and get to know the crew members on the ship. She gets scared easily and
freaks out a lot when things go wrong. Alyssa is very organized. She's very good at
expressing her emotions and you can easily tell if she's upset at you. Even if she is
upset, she still tries to find the best in everyone and focuses more on the positive
traits than the negative ones.
Looks ;; Most people say the thing that sticks out the most about Alyssa is her long,
brown hair. That's because most people in the future don't have natural hair colors
anymore and have artificially changed their genes to give their children unnatural
hair and eye colors [a way to change the skin color has not been found yet]. Her
parents have decided not to change their hair, but only changed their eyes. She has
bright, purple eyes. Her skin is a light tan.
Upgrades ;; As a human, she does not have any abilities, but her gear allows her to
hover above the ground one or two feet. She also has special glasses that allow her
to see a map of what scientists have discovered in space, and check where they are.
The glasses also allow her to communicate with the AI and other crew members.

Appearance: Wesley is of average height, and fairly thin, though the sheer amount she eats makes that fairly hard to believe. She has short, dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, and her face is usually covered in grease, oil, or, more typically, explosive residue. She typically wears a gray t-shirt, with baggy beige cargo pants, and her prized tool belt, usually with a variety of things clipped to it. She looks fairly harmless, but she's deadly accurate with an omnitool, so it's best not to get her mad.
Personality: Wesley is passionate, curious, and doesn't give a fig about any sort of safety regulatons or general good sense get in the way of what she wants to do. She loves nothing more than to tinker on things, whether she's streamlining the power flow to the engines, or tweaking the hyperdrive to try and maximize its efficiency. She's a genius with machines, though she usually doesn't think things through before she does them, which has resulted in more than her fair share of accidents. Her lax attitude towards regulations is really only tolerated because she still gets results, usually better than most of the other engineers.
Equipment: Wesley has a wide variety of tools and equipment to perform the various duties required of her, but she does have a few favorites that she keeps on her at all times. First and foremost is her trusty omnitool, a device capable of performing a wide array of tasks, from tightening or untightening bolts to picking and hacking locks. She also usually carries her plasma cutter with her, a small tool capable of cutting through most metals with relative ease, as well as a datapad with her ideas and schematics on it.
Skills/Abilities: Wesley's a master engineer, she can read technical diagrams and schematics as well as most people can read words. She's been working on the Zodiac since its creation, and she knows the ship inside and out.

Appearance: When Minerva chooses to manifest herself, she appears as a woman in her mid-thirties, with long hair and solid white eyes. Her holorendering subroutines haven't been completely finished yet, so she's colored a transluscent blue, and she doesn't appear to be wearing clothes, though it doesn't really matter since most of her features haven't been programmed in yet. She generally keeps herself about a foot tall, as that's the size limit of the holoemitter she typically has access to, though she will make herself taller if she's downloaded into the ships systems. She'll always keep her image completely intact though, regardless of how tall or small that requires her to be.
Personality: Minerva is confident, cocky, and ever so slightly arrogant, though not without reason. She's very capable, she knows what she's doing and how to do it, and because of that, she can't help but come off as condescending when telling other people how to. Usually, she'll just push them aside and do the job herself, something that doesn't endear her well to the rest of the crew. Wesley's tried to curtail her arrogance, but it hasn't really worked.
Equipment: Minerva was a prototype AI created by Wesley on a whim, and as such she only has access to the things Wesley has access to. She can't get into any of the ship's systems without special permissions, though she does have one thing that the central AI doesn't. Since Wesley wasn't allowed to store her in the ship's computer, Minerva was placed in a mobile drone of Wesley's own designing, nicknamed The Owl. It's nothing special, a simple repair drone with a holoemitter mounted on it, but it allows Minerva complete freedom of mobility, as well as a limited degree of interaction with the world, through The Owl's grasping arms. Nothing compared to what an android or hard holo body would, but it's better than nothing.
Skills/Abilities: Minerva, as an AI, can move freely through whatever data system she finds herself placed into, assuming nobody's trying to bar her way of course. She was created by Wesley to act as an assistant, so she has a working knowledge of the ship's systems and layout, as well as most repair and diagnostic procedures. She's still unfinished, however, and slightly unstable because of that. She's prone to sudden crashes and personality malfunctions, which usually results in a strange shift in mood, almost like she's drunk.

Stalwart and stubborn, he will lead his team with a fair, but firm hand, and find a new home for humanity among the stars.

He also didn't want to spend nearly a year trapped in a tin can with his own father. Shy, kind and intelligent, Reinen will serve the crew of the Zodiac, patching their scrapes and doing his best to survive the whole ordeal. Who could resist exploring the stars?

Biography
Nicholas Frost was the third oldest son of Alexander Frost and lived in an upper middle class home with his three other siblings. Living in a competitive household, Frost strived to be better than his older brothers who constantly teased and bullied him. Aside from his temperament and cantankerous behavior on the playground, he was a good student with an excellent mind. Unsure what to do with his life, Nick searched for something to do as a career. He finally discovered what he wanted to do when he met an old engineer who told him of his dream of going into space. Joining the space program, he traindd nonstop until he was finally chosen to be a part of the Zodiac crew due to his excellent skill and ability to complete difficult tasks under pressure.

Personality and Character:
Rikimaru -or Riki for short- is a stoic intellectual with a cold demeanor. They are androgynous and do not take kindly to people trying to figure out their sex. Rikimaru thinks themselves better than those less intelligent (that being most), but is polite enough to not let that show. They try to be respectful but can often sound condescending as they try to gauge the intellect of those around them. Their high intelligence means they are very often bored with life, harboring the desire for a challenge or something 'worth my time.'
In addition, Rikimaru is incredibly pragmatic and efficient, not seeing anything wrong with amoral actions if it makes logical sense. Rikimaru prefers logic and reasoning over emotion and can sometimes have difficulty looking at things from an ethical standpoint. Adding this with their already cynical nature and they can be incredibly amoral sometimes without even noticing.
Rikimaru saw their opportunity to assist in the command of the Zodiac as somewhat tedious, yet they were prodded by others to take the task. Since the isolation they have been interested to see how the crew will deal with the stress of the situation, and has a notebook on the psychology of the crew stashed away. The notebook is kept a secret, as well as the knowledge that they have a doctorate in cognitive and clinical psychology.
They own a fawn-colored Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Montague as a companion animal. They managed to convince the board that the animal was necessary to keep the crew's mental state in check, as the calming effect of an animal on board was unparalled.
