(Since there are so many questions floating around I think I'm just going to skip my overall comments to everyone and just answer the questions. I would like to say that everyone has such lovely art of their characters!!)

I am a huge fan of YCH to be honest! I love the more unique ones, like for lizard like characters or birds. Canine ones are always a go to as well!
What is one REAL animal species that you feel should be more popular when it comes to characters?
Reptiles like lizards or snakes and more bird characters!!!!
If you could, what 1 character would you pick if you had the ability to make them real? and why?
Oh my…. As much as I would love to say one of my canine characters, I think I would have to go with one of my reptile ones… Maybe Nuria or Lenna. As to why, I think it would be a lot of fun to have a little one to keep with me or have my dream python in real life!

I actually have two, but my current fursona is Xaviera. She represents me now (or at least I like to think so.) She is confident in herself, but still has doubts. She tries her best to be the best she can be, but her fears and anxiety can take over. She is loud and proud and not afraid to take someone down if needed. Plus she is just gorgeous!!
What do you think multiple fursonas?
Being someone who has two, I am okay with the idea!

I have one that represents my “older” self. The all loving, super caring person I hope to be. The one that puts others first and mothers everyone. The other is the more current “me”. She represents trying to figure out this crazy thing call life and making the best of it.

How do you represent your characters on a site/ toyhouse/folders? Do you just put refs as the preview, do you use icons? Buy (or draw) tags?
I would love to use tags. I think it is a very cute way to make a site look professional and organized. Currently my weebly account is being special, so I want to clean it up and hopefully get tags! Right now I’m moving everyone over to my toyhouse account. I am just using it as a place holder, but I do like the sight in general.

(I love all my babies!!!) But an overall favorite would have to be my fursona, Xaviera

It is honestly one of my favorite things about characters!!! I use several (baby) name sites that show the meanings and origins of the names. I use a few generators as well.
What do you look for in characters?
Connection. Can I see me keeping/using them in the future? Do they look well designed? Will they fit into the “family” smoothly?

IM DROWNING IN QUESTIONS
(I'Ll reply to people's posts soon, but i don't have much time to be there now and my post is so long already rip)
(skipped ones mean: really difficult question, i don't know how to answer, srry)

How do you come up with character names?
I really like original names. I try to avoid common ones, but it really depends on the universe the character lives in. If it's a character that should be simple or cute, like kids cartoons, i give it a simple name (such like object names or something you'd name your dog after).
If it's a character for a really serious and realistic story, i try to stick to the real names
And if it's a character from a fantasy universe, i give them original names mixing two or more fantasy names.

How do you deal with art stealers?
I'm still impressed after all these years spreading my art over internet i haven't been attacked by any art thief. That's good, though.
If i ever had my art stolen, i'd message the person, the site staff and try to show everyone the thief so they would get banned as soon as possible.

How did you come up with you fursona?
He was based after one of my favorite games some years ago: Don't Starve (though now i have so many favorite ones i can't even count on my fingers).
He's a mix between dinosaurs (I LOVE DINOSAURS), Don't Starve, Glowing eyes (I LOVE GLOWING EYES) and my personality, but much more fun and friendly.

YEs! They all support me and think i'm one of these people who work for Pixar lol

My friends helps me to write stories. They also describe characters that they haves in mind and i draw them.

I draw tags. I think they make it nice-looking and functional.
It's also good because you have a peek on what the character looks like, but not completely.
