She looked at the adult she-cat, resting her head side to side "Hey Dustfur....I don't know..." she meowed shortly, not very interested to speak. She wasen't very Morning person and was in bad mood for some reason. She glanced at her mentor flicking her ears tiredly "...Hello..." she answered silently.

After catching the two mices she dropped them to the hole she was made to them. Turning her gaze toward the other cats which was with her, thought they was already far to the other side, only a pelt, ears and tail tips showed inside the bushes.

snowpaw shook her small head, "no. i'm clumsy anyways, no need to blame yourself." she purred, wincing as the squirrel nearly fell. the apprentice tightened her grip o the rabbit's scruff and shuffled about, trying to avoid it's large hind legs dragging across the forest floor.

Dustfur flicked her tail slightly, seeing that Cloverpaw didn't want to talk. Dustfur turned to Cheetahclaw and dipped her head in respect. "Hello Cheetahclaw, how are you?" Dustfur replied kindly, smiling a little.

Otterpaw grinned slightly and nodded his head. "You're not all that clumsy." Otterpaw replied before quickly padding ahead as he saw the camp entrance. He looked back at Snowpaw and grinned wildly. "Come on Snowpaw!" Otterpaw called out, trying his best to speak without dropping the squirrel.

snowpaw's ears pricked as she sped up, nearly tripping on the rabbit once more. she twitched her whiskers and turned around, then began to drag it backwards to prevent herself falling over the prey again. "i don't know how you were able to catch this otterpaw." the shecat admitted between gritted teeth.

It was now sun high and he had spent his morning with the border patrol, he figured that the group was capable of continuing without him. So he turned towards camp and started back on his way, a little bit of quiet time never hurt a tom anyways.

The molly shook her head "Nope! I don't mind sitting anywhere. And the vole will work just fine!" Though she planned on only taking a few bites anyways. She was not particularly fond of vole, as it tasted weird to her so she will suck it up and endure a few bites. She scanned the camp and saw that Sageclaw was moving from a nice shaded spot in camp "How about over there?" she flicked her tail that way "Looks like they will be moving soon anyways."

The cream and white tabby tom smiled at that and dipped his head to the she cat before stalking off towards the warrior's den. As he dipped in he paused just a second and remembered he had not trained Otterpaw today. He shrugged it off, maybe he would like a day off to himself.. he thought before finding his nest. It was getting stale but he did not mind, not wanting to bother to replace it, he curled up and soon fell asleep, waiting for when the moon started to rise.

Otterpaw watched Snowpaw struggle with the rabbit, and felt bad that she ahd to deal with it instead of him. Otterpaw smiled a little when she spoke. "Lots of training." He mumbled as they neared camp. "Sorry you had to deal with it. And this squirrel is quite impressive as well, I've given up on trying to keep the tail from dragging!"

The large tom had made his way back towards camp rather quickly than what he liked but didn't let it bother him. He picked up fresh scents of freshly killed rabbit and squirrel, thinking it was the hunting patrol returning be decided to head towards them to congratulate on their kills. When he spotted the two apprentice he looked around for any warrior's that might have been with them, when he didn't see any he cut them off to get them to stop "Otterpaw, Snowpaw! I hope you had permission to leave camp unattended." He began to scold them.

Otterpaw froze when he heard Rainstar's voice, Otterpaw quickly folded back his ears. Otterpaw glanced at Snowpaw before turning his head to face Rainstar. Otterpaw dropped the squirrel, using all his willpower to keep looking Rainstar in the eyes. "Hello Rainstar, sir!" Otterpaw meowed nervously, his tail shaking slightly. "Well, umm no... you see.... I-I thought maybe the fresh kill pile could use some more fresh kill! And well, I was a little bored.... anyway Sageclaw looked really tired, and I didn't want to bother him! I knew I shouldn't go alone, so I asked Snowpaw to come with me, she didn't want to go, but I talked her into it! And look at the fresh kill we got! Snowpaw was able to get this huge squirrel!" Otterpaw took a breath, hoping Rainstar would understand. Otterpaw did his best to keep eye contact with Rainstar, even though he would have liked to just look at his paws instead. Otterpaw made sure to keep his paw down, acting like it was fine. "I better not show him just yet until I find out just how mad he is..." Otterpaw thought, hoping he wouldn't get into to much trouble, and even more that Snowpaw wouldn't.
