Driftmoon sprang upward and slashed at Slate's open underbelly with unsheathed claws. "Slate! I don't care for your excuses anymore, If you were one a clan cat like I think you were than you will follow the warrior code, An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense!" She mewed to Slate as he started to bleed "Oh but Drift, Only cats of pure forest blood can be true Clan members" he laughed "I've already said this enough Slate, I don't want to hear your excuses. Not everyone is perrrfect or can have true clan blood, But everyone has the power to show there loyalty to there clan, That's where a true clan cat lies in the forest" She mewed with a small tear in her good eye "F..Fi..Fin..e" Slate mewed softly as he went limp. Tux looked over at Slate and then looked back at Thornclaw and his other attackers, He got up and ran out of the forest area and turned his head around once at the edge of the shadowy terrain "This won't be the last you see of me you filthy furballs!" He hissed that ran off farther into the forest

Once one of the cats was dead and the others ran off, he bounded over to Driftmoon and started checking her over. He was no medicine cat, buy he'd figured he could at least check for scratches. "Are you okay?" he asked with concern in his voice.

The tom finally arrived in camp not long after he had left. He raced into the camp, calling for his leader. "Rainstar, Rainstar!" he called out, coming to a harsh stop by her.

Thornclaw flicked his tail for the patrol to follow him back to camp "We need to report this to Rainstar Immediately" he mewed to the cats

"I think my blue eye is blinded but everything else is fine, It be fair It was already clouded and blurry anyway so I Guess im all good" She mewed to Badgerpaw "Anyways, Thanks for Saving me. Thats was really brave of you" She mewed as she licked his cheek again "I need to stop doing that, Ehh I'm so so stupid, what was I even thinking!" She mewed to herself angrily in her mind. Driftmoon looked over at Badgerpaw "I.. I'm so sorry I got really excited and you saved my life and oh starclan now im rambling hahah kill me" She said in a very fast pace to Badgerpaw.

He had a worried expression on his face, but he acknowledged what Thornclaw said with a nod.

When they neared the location his apprentice had described, he came to a stop and turned around to face the patrol. "I suppose here would be a good place to start... hey, where's Spottedpaw?" he queried once he noticed the missing apprentice. She was still fairly young and probably did not know the territory well yet, which worried him.

The young apprentice was about to go and ask her mentor how close they were when she noticed she was alone. "Uh... guys?" she mewed. "Where are you?" She couldn't pick up their scent, which was a definite sign that things weren't good. The spotted she-cat climbed up onto a nearby log to gain height and maybe see if she could spot her clanmates, but it didn't help much.

He started walking, making sure to stay by the injured she-cat's side. 'Oh no... I hope she's not hurting too much. What if something else happens? What if they returned? It looked like she knew them... oh, I hope everything'll be alright! Dritmoon's such a wonderful cat; she's nice, caring, brave...' he though, his inner dialogue running in all sorts of directions, though mainly focusing on the she-cat next to him. He truly did hope she was okay, for he didn't think he could bear her getting hurt too bad.

Thornclaw, Driftmoon, Badgerpaw, and I think a couple others, and they were in a fight with these cats with odd scents. I think they were rogues! I was just out hunting and I heard something, so I went to investigate. Once I saw what was going on, I came here as quick as I could." He thought for a moment, then added, "I think the rogues were outnumbered, though."

Thornclaw padded up next to Sandbranch his scared, slightly bleeding patrol behind him " We were attacked by Driftmoon and I's more evil side of the family, Driftmoon's father 3 of the 4 cats that we fought ran off saying this wont be the last we see of them while another cat, A smaller black one with green eyes was killed. This body is still outside the camp but we need to have more cats keep an eye out on are borders and near camp so they don't show up again" He mewed sternly
