Ashpaw scanned the camp for his mentor. After he had found her he quickly Wales over to her. "Hello Daywatcher. Can we go hunting or should we stay and help rebuild the camp?" He meowed. Looking up at his mentor his mismatched eyes were almost tell her he wanted to go hunting. He was itching to stretch his leg and go for a run after sleeping in the cramped apprentice den instead of his usual spot at he base of a tree to the side of the camp. He paced around as he waited for Daywatcher to tell him what to do. Ashpaw tuned toward the commotion but decided that he would find out what was going on shortly. He sat down and watched.

Dawnflower got back just as the commotion started. With a rabbit bale fed on her back and a mouthful of bedding, she carefully padded over to the nursery. She put the rabbit and fresh bedding by her side. "What's going on?" She meowed to Goldenpaw, her face full of curiosity. "I just went get Gullstep some prey and fresh bedding" she meowed.

She had collected a sizable pile of building materials, in her opinion, so Sorrelpaw crouched down and picked up the burly pile in her jaws. The young apprentice pads back to camp, tendrils dragging behind her. She squints her right eye a bit as her shoulder pained her slightly, but not bad enough to make her stop. She dropped the pile near the elder's den, and started weaving the thick vines into the gaping holes that riddled the den.

Fernstar looked at the den entrance before returning her gaze to the queen. "A kit was found just outside of camp, she looks no older than a newborn," the leader began. "We don't know where her mother is but I get the feeling she isn't coming back. This is why I would like to ask if you would foster Silverkit for the time being." She mewed, gently picking up the silver kit and placing her between the leader's paws. "Besides, your kits aren't far from birth." She added, looking down at the young kit.

Threeleg smiled at her. "Great." Then his cheeks turned bright red at her question. "Don't worry about it." He reassured her before looking down at Goldenpaw. "A kit?" He pricked his ears, catching the faint mewling of a younger cat. "This way." He flicked his tail and quickly hopped away to a cluster of half broken hazel bushes.

Juniperfrost looked at her apprentice as she bounded over. "Help me with this huge bramble, I can't handle it alone." She mumbled through the large twig she grasped in her teeth. The thorns grabbed and tugged at her tabby tuxedo fur as she tried to heave it upward. She was only the size of a new warrior, even though she had been a warrior for a few dozen moons. She despised her small size, even if it did come in handy from time to time.

Sparrowpaw nodded at Silentstream. "We'll be waiting for you by the camp entrance!" He told the warrior before turning and bounding back towards Blueheart. "She's just getting Squirrelpaw and then we can leave." He told his temporary mentor, smiling and waving his brown tabby tail. He couldn't wait to start hunting, as it was much better than being stuck in camp weaving sticks through other sticks.

Aquilo smiled at the ginger tabby. "Don't be upset if they reject you, they are in a tough situation at the moment. If you want a better chance at being accepted, I would give them a few days. Oh, and don't just walk into their camp, wait until you are found by a cat. But the more obvious, the better." He advised, waving his tail in a friendly manner.

"Oh, fox-dung," She cursed, looking at Threeleg with guilt. "I kind of already promised Blueheart I would go do a training session with him and Dustpaw..." She stared at the ground, her amber eyes full of guilt. "I am really sorry... maybe we can hang out later today, ok? I know you wanted to spend some time together.. well, I will see you later then..." To help ease the apology she licked his cheek, then turned to Blueheart. "Ok, where's Dustpaw?"

She looked as the young apprentice walked back to his new mentor before trying to think where her apprentice could be. Looking around the camp, before walking toward the apprentices den "Squirrelpaw, you here?" she meowed looking the dark den, not seeing the white short tailed apprentice anywhere. Noticing Ashpaw which she was been seen to be very close with Squirrelpaw was sitting close to the apprentices den entrance "Hello Ashpaw, are you perhaps seen Squirrelpaw?" she meowed calmly.

She called the new temporarily deputy and newly apprentice, before looking around the messful camp 'Maybe I could help to build the camp back to life too' she thought. At the sight of the kit Gullstep purred a soft and gentle purr as if to calm the young one, "Of course, Fernstar. I would be more than happy to be this cat's temporary mother for the time being," Although Gullstep said temporary she had a feeling it would be anything but. Not that the queen minded -- she was proud to be this kit's mother period.
