((XD I was half asleep writing that, don't judge me

Hiss laughed slightly, hating that he had messed up what he was saying. The dark gray tom had been out of it lately. He moved to stand next to Moss, nodding in approval when he scented the lynx. "Good job." He purred, pride glowing in his eyes. Hiss fixed his gaze on their surroundings, trying to find something Moss hadn't found yet.
"Look further." He mewed.
Sunteller smiled. "I'll teach you some common things." She mewed, holding back the thing vine tendrils that covered the entrance to her den so Mouse could get inside. The inside of the den looked nearly the same as the main cave, except in the very center there was a pool.
"Whenever our ancestors need to speak with me, they send fire into the pool." Sunteller mewed, nodding towards the hole that was in the ceiling directly above it. "They make the sun come in through there and it makes the water look like it's on fire." She mewed, leading Mouse over to the other side of the cave where she stored the herbs.
The older she-cat pulled out a piece of bark. "This is alder bark. It comes from the swamp area just outside the mountains." She mewed. "You can treat tooth aches with it. Bear is always complaining about his tooth aches so this is what I give him every once in a while." She mewed, letting Mouse look at it while she searched through her herbs for something else to show Mouse.
She pulled out a thick root next. "This is burdock root. It's very useful for the guards because it can help with wrenched claws or help with stiff joints." She mewed. "You just chew it up and put it on the area that is hurt."
"And this is tormentil." Sunteller mewed, taking out a a small yellow flower. Despite it being small, it had a really strong, sweet scent. "When you pick this, you have to make sure to take the root as well. You have to chew the whole thing and put it on the cat's wound. Tormentil is used for practically all wounds and it can even extract some poisons." She chuckled slightly. "I remember when I went to do my hunting training as a to-be, I went with your mother. Horizon got bit by a snake. I was so freaked out that she was going to die and I kept trying to find tormentil. One of the others came back with Pineteller and he just gave me this amused look and said the snake that bit her wasn't poisonous."
Bee followed after Mist and Frog, looking back to Talon before going to stand next to Mist, watching the landscape below them. "The older cats keep talking about how beautiful the old territory was... but how can something be prettier than here." She mewed, a dazed look on her face.
