"Yes Foxclaw!" she said excitedly, running to the nearest tree, and jumping up, digging her claws into the bark as she climbed up to the first branch

Cloudpetal exited camp, and looked behind her to see if Nightheart and Flamestar were coming

Foxclaw nodded to his apprentice, then leaped up beside her. "Dig in your front claws, but keep your hind claws partially sheathed, so you can push yourself up with your hind legs." He instructed, then climbed up to the next branch to demonstrate. Foxclaw pricked his ears as he heard a screech, then another. He focused on it, and swiveled his ears around to hear better. It sounded more shocked than scared, and Foxclaw just wanted to teach his apprentice, so he let it be.

Swiftbreeze heard a scream, and leaped up. She angled her ears towards the source, and ran towards the screech, alert. Who's screeching?

Rosekit halted at the entrance to dirtplace, and Squirrelkit sighed and pushed her in. Rosekit followed her sister slowly. "Squirrelkit....!" She tried to protest, but her daring sister ignored her and pricked her ears. "C'mon, let's hunt!"

Squirrelkit bounded (ungracefully, like a kit) into the forest, and let Rosekit scramble after her, complaining in a high mew. She pretended to scent the air. "Hurry up Rosekit!"
