Orca, contrary to what most may believe (because of her coat) hates swimming, in fact she's terrified of deep water and swimming. This is because of a childhood experience, almost drowning while in the ocean with her mother. Orca has a two part personality, she has a tendency of being insecure around full grown Viscets like herself, or rather, Viscets her age or older. She feels like they have power over her and have the right to judge her and so she can often be seen shying away from those Viscets and keeping to herself. But the other part has to do with Visclings and or Viscets younger than her. Shes older and isn't intimidated by them, but she doesn't use this to her advantage and overpower them, but uses her higher amount of knowledge to teach instead. She doesn't consider herself a leader, because that is to much responsibility and she feels she wouldn't be able to handle it, regardless of the fact that she is a very responsible Viscet. She likes to tell stories and teach lessons to the Visclings, like a teacher. Because of this split personality situation, she's often made the babysitter.

Orca, though it may not be very common in most Viscets, isnt as fond of her mother as everyone else seems to be. Her classy style just doesnt seem to impress Orca, and is rather annoyed by it because of a past memory. When Orca was just Viscling, Orca hadn't had enough time to clean herself up before a gathering, and while previously holding a grudge felt like her own mothrr was showing her up. This clearly was a miss understanding as Cordelia would never have done that to her very own daughter, but because of the surcumstances, seemed to wedge a splinter in their relationship ship that was never really removed. Orca has tried a few tines to sit and talk with her mother, but she is quiet whenever they're in private which can make it difficult. Orca has picked up a few traits such as being a daydream, being motherly to younger Visclings, and tending to be positive, just about everything about them is pretty much the opposite, which is why they end to get along, and Orca has a tendency of avoiding her mother.

Orca has always adored her father, she could always go to him when she was feeling down, and I'd still the only one she can go to to talk about something that is bothering her. She is always looking forward to the next time she can see him. she often likes inviting him to sit with her by the river around her him and to just say whats on their minds. Darcy is one of the only older Vuscet that she likes to be around and can speak freely around, without worrying about judgement.

Vertis gets along very well with his mom. She is very proud of his intelligence, kind heart, and sense of justice. However, she is constantly trying to get him to stop pranking people. Although she finds some funny, she overall wishes he would stop it. Vertis admires his mother greatly. He hopes one day he will be as selfless as her. However, being young, he hasn't quite gotten there. Vertis wishes his mother would care less about her appearance. She is always beautiful in his eyes.


Dad: Darcy

Darcy is also very proud of how Vertis is always there for his friends. Unlike his mate, he enjoys Vertis' pranks and sometimes helps him create them, much to Cordelia's amusement and annoyance. Vertis admires how his father seems to bring out the best in everyone and make friends of even strangers.

Overall

All in all, Vertis gets along very well with his parents. He loves and admires them both dearly, and they are very proud of him. He has some quirks that annoy them but overall, they feel that he will grow into a fine young man. Vertis finds the love between his parents to be extraordinary and hopes that one day, he too will find a mate that will complete him just as Darcy and Cordelia seem to complete each other.

Delta is a loving girl with a good head on her shoulders. She loves to be outside singing or writing in the midst of whistling birds and rustling branches. Most people see her as "That cute girl who's a bit off." She doesn't mind this, provided they don't look at her like she's insane. That is the one big thing that will cause her to instantly snap. She's not strong, but she can sure scream. She also hates being told what to do. though she mostly does what she's asked, she often curses the request under her breath. Mostly though, she is a charming girl, chirping about her work(stories, poems, schoolwork, etc.) to her friends and family. She LOVES being complemented. But even more than that, she loves this beautiful world. She secretly hopes that her work will reach them so they may take heed of it as well. She also is very enthralled by wild viscets with their power of being one with nature. When she was little, she liked to run on all fours, growling and lashing her tail in the backyard. She wishes to one day travel the world(to her mother's slight dismay), explaining to many others of the damage that is being done and opening their eyes to help make it better. She believes with all of her heart that one day, animals and humans can have environmental equilibrium.

And what's my very most favorite thing to do? Heh... this may seem silly... but I love sitting at the park, on a swing... blasting music at the highest volume. Not heavy metal or anything, more like songs with a lot of energy. Still, doesn't sound like me, right? I MUST be the angelic little one who loves slow, pretty love songs. Not as such. I need to be energized, alert, jumpy even. Do you have any idea how much energy being this adorable takes out of you?

Have I mentioned that she has a strange way of speaking? She likes to detach herself from conversations that could give someone a negative feeling of her. A teen life "survival technique" if you will.

Delta:

safe of worries and of woes

the sewer drips and dozers turn

Delta's Dad(Darcy):Like everyone else, Delta respects and adores her father beyond any explanation. He enjoys her writing and tries his hardest to understand her rants. He sees her talent, but he also sees her selfishness. He knows that she needs to be kept in check from time to time and can be firm with her, but he always scolds her warmly. Despite her stubborn and difficult nature, she does nearly everything he asks(there are exceptions to every situation.) She tends to look to him for advice, praise, and even a shoulder to cry on.

Delta's mom(Cordelia):Delta, of course, loves her mom as well. However, they don't always tend to agree, especially about Delta's future, which makes Delta very heated from time to time. Her mother wants her to stay home, get a good education and be trapped by her job. She treats Delta like she is a child, which is becoming more and more tiresome for her. Her mother is very sweet and sentimental, but that makes teenage years very difficult because that is the time when all children want to escape the "chumminess" of their parents. Delta tells her mother that she knows of wild viscets, living off their own strength and hard work and says she can take care of herself out there. Cordelia chidingly responds with "the wilderness is no place for a young girl!" An exclamation Delta has heard many a time. If that didn't change my mind before, why will it now?! Though it is probably just due to the teenage phase, relationship between the two of them has become increasingly shaky over the years. Delta worries that the two of them may totally break apart one day, and with that will go her relationship with her father as well. But not forever, of course. She just needs a little time to grow up, and her mother is having a bit of trouble giving that to her.
