Freeze dried shrimp. She LOVES these things so much it's kind of funny.
What's your cat's favorite treats?
I have learned as well that one of my cats, Lotus. Tiny bits of shrimp are included in her cat-food and I have soon learned she loves it.
I sometimes feed my cat boiled chicken, cooked with no salt, seasonings, onions, etc. it is a nutritious once-in-a-while treat. I don't let him have the bones though.
I found a nice little chart that should educate you on what foods you shouldn't feed your cat. Meow

My cats will eventually be switched over to a balanced raw diet, which includes two of the things (at least) on that list, so let me break some things down.
Raw bones are perfectly safe for cats, as long as they are not weight bearing bones. I actually feed my cats raw meaty bones, as the act of chewing on them actually cleans their teeth. Cooked bones, however, should never be fed. Cooking them alters their makeup and makes them brittle which causes them to splinter.
A balanced raw diet also includes feeding raw meat and organs as well. Cats are obligate carnivores, they are literally designed to live on animal based diets. Like other carnivores, cats have short, highly acidic digestive tracts that don't allow bacteria time to multiple in their guts. Safe handling practices when preparing their meals will also help to reduce the risk of them (or you) contracting any food-borne illnesses.
I also feed my cats raw eggs regularly, especially during spring and fall, when they are shedding their coats. Yes, avidin is a biotin blocking protein that is produced by birds, reptiles and amphibians and deposited into the whites of their eggs when they lay them. However egg yolks are incredibly rich with biotin and balances out the avidin. So long as you feed the entirety of the egg and it's not a mainstay in their diet, there is no issue feeding raw eggs to your cats.

I posted a little while ago about my little baby (his name is Apollo now).
He had sick eyes, and I'm happy to say there's been a huge improvement. Back when I found him, he could barely open one of his eyes, but now he can open both of them fully. I'll continue doing his eye drops at least until the vet says anything otherwise.
The bad news is that his bad eye really does look bad. He can open it fully, but there seems to be a.. bump? over the actual eyeball. It's light in color and seems to be part of the eyeball and not just something stuck there. When he went to the vet the first time, he did say that one of the eyes might be too badly damaged to recover, so it's not a huge surprise. I do kind of hope the whole eye wouldn't need to be removed? But we'll see what's best for the baby.
babbys eyes thursday or last weekbabbys eyes now (though he was sleepy)

Mimi is so confident now!
She eats out of a bowl on the FLOOR. (Because the dog's not around :c)
She's walking calmly around the house and garden... She owns the place!
... until we get a new dog...

Hello all!
Recently I saved this scrappy looking orange and white kitty off the streets of Florida, where I live.
He was extremely underweight at first, and had BAD wounds on his neck. I was scared he was going to die, but thankfully the worst injury he had was he was badly starved. He did indeed have a collar, but the number didn't work and whoever once owned him abandoned him. So we kept him!
We've had him for just about 2 weeks now and he's looking great =3 his name is Xander
P.s my rooms a mess because I'm getting rid of my old toys since I'm to old for them, plus we just moved some birds in my room (Xander has no interest in them don't worry) so it's messy!

im coming up on infra-red, there is no running that can hide you...
cause i can see in the dark
