Hey, I know it's been like thirty pages and almost a week since some of these questions were posted, but I never got the chance to answer them and still really want to.

@Kurain - Good luck finding new characters for the webcomic! I usually find that planning it all out ahead of time helps so that you can see what you need to add to the character to make them interesting and appropriate for their role. Also, it's much easier legally if you make them up yourself, just as a little hint, but getting inspiration from others is helpful.
@Butter Dragon - Good luck getting questions! Maybe I'll have to ask a couple

are there any types of characters that you'd love to have but have not found the perfect one yet?
YES. There's a specific design palette I'm trying to use, an orange, yellow and pink one, but I'm having difficulty making it and I want to be able to design it myself.

What's your most interesting character:
Hoo boy. Uh... Interesting? Maybe Dorothy, Esmee or China. I'm not quite sure though.

What's your most original characters:
Great question! I don't know!
Nah, maybe it's Kassidy, Cherika (when I finish with her personality and such), or Sonatia. I also really like another character of mine when it comes to originality, but she's a side character for story purposes.

What's your strangest character:
Butters, Dorothy, Kaito or Tabitha

What's your favorite character overall:
I have a top five list (not in order of most favorite or anything) = Phoebe, Dorothy, Felix, Variel and Checkered Flag - (China is really close in there too but I only just got her)

Do you have any characters that look more like the opposite gender? do you have characters that don't look like any particular gender?
I imagine Amaris might get mistaken as a boy a few times here and there, but otherwise... I don't think so

Do you have characters that are not binary gender? (i.e. not male/female)
I... don't think so? I don't know really, most of mine just go by "he's" and "she's" because it's easier for me to write and helps simplify it in my mind. I can only remember so many things these days

who is your oldest looking character?how old are they?
Captain (around 50's), Neomonni (around 40's), and Gunner (around 40's) probably look the oldest

who is your youngest looking character? how old are they?
Abigail (around 8), Beck (around 9), Midnight Sun (around 500, looks 9), Brayden (around 10), Merletta and Todd (both look around 8) are my youngest in my mind

Who is your tallest character? who is your shortest?
Not including some of my children characters (since they're obviously smol), my tallest would probably be Kaito or Jared and my shortest would probably be Clyde.

Who is your lightest character? who is your heaviest
My lightest is Dorothy - she literally weighs nothing. As for heaviest, probably... Captain Way maybe?

Do your characters have Zodiac signs? name 5 of your characters and give their sign
*Sighs* Yes, they all do, but for my sakes, I'm not going to add any just because I can't pick five right now. They all have birthdays, so they all have zodiacs because of that

Do you have any winged canines? Show them off!
DO I. The answer is yes. All of my Jewel Mane Dragons, Chillabuns, and Parrapups have wings because it's part of their species, but the unique ones are Chickadee, Firecracker, Loa (she's a bird though), and Lucelle.

What's your favorite piece of art you've ever gotten of any character:

How many characters do you have?
93 (I keep a count on my website)

How many are closed species?
50 of them (I'm sorry not sorry)

How many you designed yourself? How many designed by others?
Phoebe I designed myself, but besides that, only three of the 93 were made by me. The other 90 were made by other people. I just don't stay very attached to my own designs like others do. However, 2 of the 90 I didn't make I did modify a bit in the design for refurbishing purposes.

How many characters do you WISH you had?
Uh..... Great question! I'd like to retaliate that question with another question. How may characters do you wish you had? How many characters do we as a website community wish we had? We cannot always rely on hopes and dreams and wishes to make our lives worthy and ambitious. Sometimes, complacency is the only comfortability and sometimes we have to accept what is given to us. Many a time have we all struggled to reach our goals, and not everyone is ready or willing to achieve them.

tldr; I wish I had less to worry about, but I wish I had more to be creative with. I'm on the fence.

I just got a new character named China! I won her form the SCAA and I'm so excited to draw her and answer questions with her. Since she's been on my mind a while, I'll be answering these questions with her.

Pick a character, tell us their name and gender and/or sex!
This is China Marie Firman, she's female

What do they do for a hobby or interest?
Her main hobby is traveling and finding collectible jewelry.

Does this character have a significant moment form their past? Why is it important?
She ended up getting a pearl necklace with her mother at her mother's job. By getting, I mean she stole it. It was influential to her in the way that it made her realize what she wanted to do with her life: cat burglary.

Do they keep in touch with family and/or close friends?
All the time, her family consists of the people closest to her and she absolutely adores them. The Firman family always stays close.

Do they like helping people out? Why?
Erm... She is a bit selfish and isn't really big on charities (she thinks they're petty) but she doesn't mind helping a woman cross the street or returning a lost toy to a child when she sees it. China doesn't normally go out of her to help those she doesn't care about but will still do minor acts of kindness around her, as long as it doesn't inhibit her purposes or require giving something of hers up. She's pretty classy and well mannered.

Is this character single? What's their orientation?
China is single, mainly because she hasn't found the hunky, movie star celebrity of her dreams. She has kind of high standards, but she is definitely interested in guys (especially attractive, muscular ones).

How do they feel about relationships?
Romantically, she doesn't mind eventually finding who she wants to spend her life with. When it comes to friends, she is generally a little more wary. She can never be sure who will rat out on her life of petty crime but also loves to chat away with anyone she can. She's pretty easy to socialize with and doesn't mind being friendly with others, but she doesn't keep many steady friendships due to her travels. If she ever makes enemies, she immediately tries to ignore them for the rest of her life and runs from them. No problems, no worries.

How would they cope with the loss of a loved one?
She would probably cry for days without end. China does not take loss well when it comes to people and would try to stay close to as many other loved ones as possible.

Do they prefer any specific holidays?
Any bank holiday that leaves stores and homes unattended! China does love Christmas though and always spends it with her family.

Do they celebrate any unusual holidays?
I don't believe so, I'd have to think about that. The Firman family does stay in contact a lot, but they don't frequently get all together again except for one time at the end of the year.


Oh yes, I have some questions I'd like to ask too! Well, really just one. It's the same type of question everyone asks.
