Willowpelt froze, eyes opening as she heard Rabbitfoot. Not attack her? Her whiskers twitched, tail lowering. Already too late. She swiped her paw at the rump of the cat, in attempt to make her fall. She huffed, trying to catch her breath. Her tail was bristled, teeth bared. "Who are you?" Her tone was straight forward as she stepped back towards Rabbitfoot, standing up straighter. She pressed his pelt against his for balance, and maybe comfort. Her ears were down. This cat seems too familiar!

Elijah kept running, scared of what they would do to a loner on their territory. But when the she-cat started to catch up to him he knew it was over. The female slammed into him, causing him to roll on the ground to the left. When he stopped rolling a small amount of dust was in the air, causing the small cat to cough. He looked at the two cats. Willowpelt and Rabbitfoot. He let out deep pants, exhausted from running. He looked at the ground, not wanting to see their faces.

Stormpaw nodded, following Ebonystar off the log. Once her paws touched the wet grass she heard the yowl. Panic struck her. She darted after Ebonystar, trying her best to keep up with her. Elijah... Please be safe... Once she saw Ebonystar stop she started to slow down, still walking around the area, trying to find them by sniffing them out. She looked at Ebonystar, "Where do you think they've gone?"

Skylar heard the yowls of cats in the distance. They weren't that far away. Curiously she headed in the direction of the cats. At this point she realised she was in the clan cat's territory but she didn't care. What were they going to do to her. She learned much more about fighting being alone and fending off foxes, dogs and gadgets than they would ever learn constantly being in a large group. She was also fairly fast. When the she got close enough to see the cats she lowered herself to the ground and out of their view. He saw a small group of clan cats beside another cat who was laying on the ground panting. She recognized him as a loner she sometimes saw when she was out hunting.

"I slept well," Lilystream meowed in reply. "Maybe a little too well." She glanced at the sun which shone high in the sky. "We could go collect some feathers now if you would like." She purred at the idea of the soft lined beds.

Elijah just lay there, his face pointing toward the ground. He felt a sharp pain in his hind quarters, letting out a small yowl, he looked up. His face was in a worried/pain strucken look. He let out a small growl, seeing the two cats close to each other. He felt the blood drip down his hind quarters and onto the dry grass where he lay. He looked around, seeing that even if he were to run there was no where to go. Behind him was a mess of brambles and thorns, and he didn't need that at all. The tom looked back at the two cats his dark oak eyes looking into Willowpelt's. "Get away from me." He hissed, flicking his tail.

Skylar continued to hide in a thicket of thorns and bushes. She was watching the cats beside the loner who was bleeding heavily. She considered helping the tom but decided that for now it was best to stay hidden. She suddenly heard the sound of paws thumping against the ground behind her. She lowered herself even closer to the ground, accidently stabbing a thorn into her side. She hissed loudly as it tore through her skin. Her heart thumped against her chest and she didn't dare breathe as the cats got closer, hoping they hadn't heard her hiss.

The fae looked to her companion. Her nose was lifted and scenting, the black nostrils flared in and out as she attempted to pick up their scent but was faced with something new and overwhelming. Her eyes laid quickly onto a head, peeking from a growth of green. Ebonystar seemed to take a defensive step back and looked to the cat, attempting to hold her cool. "Now, who are you?" Ebonystar mewed, staring at Echo, becoming defensive towards Stormpaw and stepping in between the two cats protectively. Even though she did this, Ebonystar still held her air of confidence and poise as always.

The male's pelt bristled instinctively. He looked to Willowpelt as she peeled away from the tom and felt relief bathe over him. The gray and white cat drew closer to him though. She pressed her pelt against his own, he could tell it was for balance and maybe for some comfort to keep her cool. "How do you not recognize him? He might be a little scraggly and older but it's the precious Nightpaw!" Rabbitfoot exclaimed with an affectionate gaze, remembering fondly on when Elijah had been a kit before. His eyes recovered though, dark gaze looking him over. "At least, I'm pretty sure. Why else would he smell strongly of Stormpaw?"

Elijah looked away when Rabbitfoot called his Nightpaw. Why do they still call me that? I left the clan and he still calls me Nightpaw. Why did I even bother changing my name.. Elijah sighed, looking at the two cats. When he spoke his voice was different, a tad more deep and it had this feeling around it. "I'm no longer Nightpaw, I left the clan, remember?" He nearly hissed, annoyed that his ex-clanmates called him that. He flicked his tail to his hind-quarters, pushing it against the gash. Dung-eater Willowpelt had to attack me... Now I need to find some of those spider-webs...

Stormpaw watched as Ebonystar stood in front of her, confused she peered around the cat, seeing a face peering out of the bushes. Stormpaw quickly went back behind Ebonystar, not recognizing the cat. Who could that be? Stormpaw looked around the forest, trying to find any sighs of the three cats. No... hopefully they didn't chase Elijah out of the territory, I have to see him again soon, see how he is... At least he's alive...

Skylar heard a she-cat's voice. She stiffened then instinctively prepared herself to either run or fight. After a long pause she realised that the she-cat's demand wasn't directed towards her. How many other loners are here," she thought to herself. I have to get out of here. She shifted nervously without meaning to do so and snapped a twig. Her breath caught in her throat knowing they must have heard her now.

Delighted by the offer, she sprang to her paws rather suddenly, gaze twinkling. "Sure!" she chirped, swiping her tongue around parted jaws. "If we're lucky we can hunt along the way, too. It seems like the hunting patrol got a little held up." Not that she'd needed to hear it to know, from the way Stormpaw had returned looking so odd.

A breathless squeak escaping him, Echo shrank back into the undergrowth, though it didn't do him much good. His dappled snowy pelt stood out clearly against the leaves, he knew, and he definitely wasn't doing such a good job at hiding himself as it were. Instead of answering directly, he stared at Ebonystar with round eyes the size of moons, all but frozen in place.

Skylar could sense the fear of the other cat. She didn't know what to do but wanted to help. That wasn't like her. Normally she would run without a second thought of any other cat. It seemed that at this moment she realised that doing that wasn't far from what her father had done to her. He had abandoned her and her mother. He had run. She was disgusted at the thought of doing anything similar to what her father would have done. She without thinking went against what her instincts were screaming at her not to do and stepped out of the protection of the thorny bushes making herself visible to the nearby cats.
