Species Story:
Kadin's wish bloomed into a scientists mission.
A team was formed to bring the wish of Kadin's to light.
After splicing DNA of animals the child held dear and the
blessing of spiritual beings, they were able to form these
basic dog cat mixes. They are part cat, part dog, and part magic.
The plate like objects on their backs stem from powerful
mythical beasts, and all Kydons have them as well as the gems.
The gems store the mystical power used to create them in the first
place. Since the magic is somewhat unstable, other mythical
creatures are able to influence the Kydons and can on occasion
cause them to display other mythical creature traits.
They are loyal, kind, and very easy to befriend. Even though
the child who these were made for did not live long enough to
see them, at least their wish for happiness lives on in the Kydons.

Rules

This is a closed species you are not allowed to: recreate the species, make your own, sell the species, trade the species, or claim this as your own species.
If you own a Kydon, you can only trade them on the Exchange forum. And you must let us know when you plan to trade them so we can keep track in the archives.
You are not allowed to splice/breed your own Kydons. You are not allowed to use the designs on other animals.
You are not allowed to change the design. This includes: add things such as wings, extra horns, fur tuffs, or changing the colors, design of the fur, and ect.
Listen to the mods. If you are unsure about anything, ask on the page.
If you take your character off site you must link back here and credit me.
IF YOU BREAK THE RULES YOU WILL BE PUT ON PROBATION. IF YOU BREAK THEM TWICE YOU WILL BE BANNED AND YOUR KYDONS TAKEN.

Character Bio: Caribbean loves the ocean or any form of water really, its where he feels most at home. He can get a bit territorial and protective so it's best to approach with caution but he is actually very sweet and loving. He loves receiving affection from those he knows and cares deeply for, otherwise he hates it and he may try to bite you. It's complicated and might seem scary but he's only violent when you make him mad. Caribbean would usually give warning to stop and it's pretty easygoing with him once he learns that you're okay to have around. He's a little shaken from the laboratories he's grown up in which is why he acts like this around everyone and his violent temper comes from his shark genes.

Character Bio: they're very lionhearted, and thoughtful. they always think of others before themselves, seeing as they're very selfless and brave. they love showing affection and making others happy. laughing is music to their ears, so they absolutely love to hear it. they love being shown attention and feeling needed, and being an extrovert, they like to be with others, talking, rather than staying quiet and alone for awhile. though, they aren't patient in some conditions, like if you insult their friend.
