Bayou nodded, finally reaching the meat after relentless digging. He grabbed some of it and put it on the edge of the hole, climbing out backwards. He carried it to the stream, following the direction Rift went. He sat down beside the SeaWing, dipping the various meats in the river and swishing them back and forth in the water quickly to wash the sand and dirt off. "By the way, we're setting off in around fifteen minutes," he said to Rift.

"Fifteen minutes!" exclaimed Rift, raising an eye ridge. "I have to gather whatever I have! Where's Pharaoh?" He knew the SandWing could help with all the sorting and things. That annoying brain of his, he thought with amusement.
