I'm just gonna drop some pics of my cuties over here.
This is Dexter. I woke him up by moving, so he proceeded to glare at me.

And Dexter again, deciding he wanted to investigate the camera

Tony being her weird self, lounging around and licking my knee. I don't even know.

And then we have Buffy.. She's not very photogenic. She also enjoys fighting the dog across the road, no matter how many times she has to go to the vet.

He's incredibly cute. He turned two in april, but he's still small. He's not related to either of my girls at all, but he's got the facial markings of both girls, and the little chin spot that Tony has. He's a little pain sometimes, though. When I don't let him in my room, he yowls incessantly until I let him in.

Aww. Those little chin spots are absolutely adorable. The yowling does sound like it would be somewhat of an annoyance, lol.
I've fostered a kitten once, but aside from that I have very little experience caring for cats. Are they at all difficult? I'm extremely interested in adopting a kitten (I would go for an older cat, but I think a kitten would be a better pick so it could learn to get along with my other pets easier), but my lack of experience with them kind of stops me every time.

Yep, he's a lil pain. Buffy meows at me when I don't let her under the covers as well. She likes to lay in the bed rather than on it, lol.
My cats are really easy, to be completely honest. Buffy and Tony we got as sisters, from a breeder, and they are both really chill. Cuddle them when they want, feed them, let them outside every so often, give them treats, and they're happy. But Dexter is the annoying one. We rescued him when he was a kitten, his mother was a stray that no one could catch and suddenly she had like five kittens. We'd been spying on her, and saw that she got herself pregnant again while her kits were still young, so she was starting to reject them. So we had to take the kittens from her little den, and I think some family friends adopted a couple of them.
Anyway, back on track. Dexter was a real naughty kitten. He would destroy everything and he was a little nuisance. He also had severe anxiety, didn't like people at all. He would run away when someone came near him. Now, though, he hates to be alone. He has separation anxiety, hence the yowling when he's shut out of the room. He literally follows me everywhere, won't leave me alone, and he still won't go outside unless I'm literally on the garden with him.
So it depends on the cat, really. All of mine were kittens when we got them, but they're all pretty different now. If you're worried about other pets, kittens are probably best. I got two rats when my girls were s couple years old and they hate them. But Dexter was a kitten when he met the rats, so he loves them. He tries to play, but the rats don't like him hehe.

So I have a question...
My cat Clank is a outdoor cat (I live in the country, not like we have any neighbors.) I raised him since the moment he was born at my home. Out of all my cats he is my favorite... He is very loud, affectionate and smart. He even knows some tricks

and he is the kind of cat that would actually enjoy being with someone and getting attention.
Although, he has always been a very... "Nibbly" or "Nippy" cat. He is very particular, you have to pet him with both hands or he will sort of nip the hand your not petting him with... And if your wearing flip flops or sandal, sometimes he heads straight for the toes or if your walking/running away from him he will chase and nip at the toes.
It's not like he's biting, sort of like a nibble and I know he doesn't intend to hurt anyone... But a few days ago he was on top of a washing machine and kept affectionately head butting the person working with it and then when they moved he bit there hand. However she has very thin skin so it wouldn't take anything more than a nibble to break the skin... But still, I would like to not worry about him nibbling my toes when I walk away from him etc...
Anyone have any advice on this? Or is anyone else's cat like this?

Do you do anything to discourage this behaviour? Something like a firm no, snapping your fingers or using a spray bottle with water to get them to stop should do. Also I find with my cats that jerking your hand away doesn't help, rather you should keep your hand where it is and wait for them to stop. Make sure to repeat the same thing so they associate the act with being bad and even reward them after when they stop the behaviour.
