"Bramblewhisker is injured, and it will take a moon or two for him to heal, because of that, I have decided to appoint a temporary deputy while he is injured. This cat will not be deputy forever, just the short while that our true deputy is unable to take up the role." She scanned the camp before smiling. "So without further a due, I say these words before StarClan but mainly towards our deputy, so he may approve of my choice." The she cat paused before smiling. "The temporary deputy of CloverClan is Blueheart." She mewed, nodding at the blue tuxedo tom.

Threeleg's eyes glittered as Blueheart was announced the temporary deputy. He knew Fernstar would make the right choice. Blueheart was a reasonable and understanding tom, and though he wasn't CloverClan's true deputy, he would be a great one until Bramblewhisker could return to his duties. "Blueheart! Blueheart! Blueheart!" He began to chant.

Juniperfrost looked at him doubtfully. "It won't be me." She whispered just before Fernstar appointed Blueheart. "Told you. But don't worry, I'm happy just being a warrior." She mewed to Bramblewhisker, smiling at him before beginning to chant along with the rest of the Clan.

Sparrowpaw sat beside Berrypaw, tail curled tightly over his paws. He wanted to focus on the meeting, but his mind kept drifting back to his dream the night before. His mother's wise words and how Pinepaw had been beckoning for him to come and play with her. He sighed and pricked his ears as it was announced that Blueheart would be the temporary deputy of the Clan while Bramblewhisker recovered. "I wonder whether she'll mention how I need a temporary mentor." He whispered to Berrypaw.

Aquilo smiled at the ginger tabby. "Don't be upset if they reject you, they are in a tough situation at the moment. If you want a better chance at being accepted, I would give them a few days. Oh, and don't just walk into their camp, wait until you are found by a cat. But the more obvious, the better." He advised, waving his tail in a friendly manner.

Bone closed his eyes, the last thing he saw being a flash of pity in the warrior's eyes and a low hiss being the last he heard. Then a single squeak escaped him before everything was quiet. He was in darkness for a short moment before a foggy, dark forest surrounded him and he knew exactly where he was, but felt at peace.

Sorrelkit cheered for Blueheart, even though she didn't know the tom. She notices the med apprentice smiling at her, and she smiles back. Suddenly, she remembered. I'm turned 6 moons this morning! I'm probably going to get a mentor, and even my apprentice name! Her grin widened. She was transported back to her kithood with Morningfern, when she and Sagekit used to play in the nursery. She remembered how they would admire the apprentices, and Rabbitpaw had even taught her how to do a hunting crouch. Sorrelkit looked up to Rabbitpaw like an older sibling. She frowned. Rabbitpaw's probably dead now. Either from sickness or... She didn't want to finish the sentence. The large kit wipes away her frown. She couldn't let old things take this away. But it kept coming back. Sagekit should be here with me..

Once Blueheart heard his name he stared at Foxstripe for a few minutes before he traveled back to reality, he gave Fernstar a nod of approval and then faced all the cats that were cheering for him "I Blueheart will promise to take care of my responsebility as a temporary deputy and will try to do as good as Bramblewhisker until he returns and can take up his role again" he meowed before all cats and starclan hoping they would accept him.

"There is more good news to come. Sorrelkit, step forward please." She smiled at the newcomer. As soon as she got her apprentice name, she would be a real member of CloverClan.

Threeleg looked down at Goldenpaw as Sorrelkit's name was called. "Isn't that your loner friend?" He asked the younger golden tom, smiling. He'd noticed Goldenpaw and Sorrelkit spending a lot of time together, and they looked like good friends.

He hoped he'd be as good as Bramblewhisker was, and that he'd help him catch up with his training. Once they'd touched noses, he sat down beside the larger tom, looking over his shoulder and gesturing with his tail for Berrypaw to sit beside him as Sorrelkit was called to step forward.
