"I'm goin to get something to eat." said Matthew. He walked out of Ali's den and saw Shandra. "Hey, Shandra! There's a suprise in your den!"

"Hmm?" Shandra asked looking up. She was considering going off for a run to try and help clear her mind, but decided to figure out what Matthew had said first.

Matthew walked up to Shandra. "There's something in your den for you."

"Oh," Shandra said and began to walk back to Ali's den.

Matthew smiled and then took a drink from the river.

Shandra returned to the den and entered. She stopped, stunned into inaction, her eyes wide.

"Oh, Shandra!" said Ali, a smile on his face.

"But... but... but you... you were... were..." Shandra said, her mind unable to formulate what she was trying to say.

"Yes." said Ali. "But I'm back."

Shandra was overcome with joy. She ran up to Ali and and began rubbing her head all over him, crying tears of joy.
