Matthew ruffled Night's fur. "You ok there?"

Ali smiled. "Back at last. Three weeks of traveling and I'm back."

Night looked up and whispered "He is Ali.... but he's not Ali" confusion filled his eyes, and his head was slightly on the side.

Aura and Fenris hadn't heard Night, they were to busy play fighting.

"Don't worry." said Matthew. "It's the same wolf, just he's not dying, ok?"

"...Ok, but he still seems different" Night whispered.

"It might do for a few days, don't worry." said Matthew. Ali looked up to Eternity. "So I didn't miss much then?"

"No, not much..." She replied she wasn't exactly sure if he was here when she had become Matthews mate, she gave Matthew a nuzzle.

"Why does he seem different now?" he asked

Matthew looked up at Ali then back at Night. "He hasn't got that bullet wound."

Ali smiled. "Well, have you two found a den then?"

Eternity nodded "Yeah"

"Why?" He asked

"Good to hear." said Ali. "Sorry, you must be confused with me saying three weeks and it actually being one day."

Matthew smiled. "It's a very long story."

Shandra reached the river and started to lap up the water. As refreshing as it was, it did little to brighten her mood.
