Shatterhowl - Really enjoyed how it tied in with Davey, I'm sure Davey appreciates the idea of water. However, I felt some things were left untouched. Parts of his personality left me wondering (like why he would lie to others, and why does he dislike other people?) and some of the way the form was set up kind of pulled my attention away, some things didn't really make sense. The art was incredibly adorable but felt a bit generic- like the standing pose. It didn't give me a sense of his personality.
There was a mention of space, and the title of 'space kid' prepared me for a rpw who has something to do with space: an astronomer, wanna be astronaut, the like. However, nothing was really expanded on, so it left me blank on why he had an interest (or perhaps disinterest?) in space.
Vox Nihili - I enjoyed the content of the form. There was extra relationships added in, and some of the relationships made me intrigued and want to see how they would unfold. Adding a mix of relationships gave him a more in-depth feeling.
The personality and second-hand commentary was great. I enjoyed the 'outside' and 'inside' sort of look. I enjoyed the art as well, as it showed personality (specifically in one, I enjoyed how it was portrayed) and helped tie your form together with the coding.
The thing I have to comment here is there's some things left out (not a lot) but it leaves me a bit blank here too. The personality having cliff-hangers is good for a form, but some questions I had were what other challenges does he face? He struggles with his inner turmoil, but what about the issue of the spoiled-ness and any other things?
Shatterhowl;;
Pros::
-Generally seems to fit quite nicely with the concept I assume Davey's relative would be; water loving with a general aloofness.
-Lots of visible effort in the layout in particular, I can't view it properly due to not being on a computer, but I bet it looks good normally.
Cons::
-The general grammar bugs me? It's nothing too major, though the wording of the sentences seem odd, though I don't really think this can taken as a con due to it probably being their writing style. Though to make this a little more relevant again, the form's ordering is a little odd at first, as it answers the form's question before jumping into Devon originally not liking the water. [Which is a creative idea in terms of character development, and the form flows reasonably well after that which are more pros.]
-The form's title, and beginning aesthetic honestly make little sense to me, I can't see any relation to Devon's character and space, or the meaning of Euneirophrenia.
Vox Nihili;
Pros::
-Both good and detailed character development which again fits the general concept, but with a twist as it has Alec liking water only when it's convenient for him/he has a reason to. Relationships are explicitly explained too, adding to character growth.
-Form is well constructed and pretty much everything has a place. [Shattered glass pictures and lyrics are a little obscure to me though.]
Cons::
-I can't shake a feeling that the original question required was slightly avoided? I mean later it does implicitly imply he dislikes water in general, but still.
-Slight aspects could've been built upon; examples being Alec being a basketball player, or maybe even his adoration for cats.
Personally I lean to Vox, but hopefully this all helped a little.
I think I would have to go with Vox Nihili for this one. I really like both the forms, and can see why you are struggling between them, but I think Vox's is a bit more in depth, and helps me really see who the character is.
