Name: Skyler
Species: Dog
Gender: Female
Personality: Sarcastic, rebellious, quick tempered, impatient. Skyler's quite friendly to most people, though, but is very judgemental. She tends to think anyone who dresses fancy are snobby (which isn't true in some cases), people who play pranks are cool (again, may not be true), and so on. She loves to joke around and play pranks on people, though. She's rather violent and often rude, throwing insults whenever someone accidentally steps on her paw without a sorry or something like that.
'Nerd' type: Skyler doesn't like to consider herself a nerd. However, she does like video games... not enough to be considered a nerd, though. She's more sporty than geeky... She does like to write in a book she carries around all the time with her, though. She just doesn't like doing it in front of anyone...
Brief History: Her dad's overseas at work, her original mom is deceased, she has a stepmother who she doesn't really like, a stepsister she hates even more, and a brother on her dad's side. I could give more information if you need it. She's also half-blown up the Science rooms in the last two schools she went to...
Guardian: Um, your choice. Nina, perhaps? It's really your choice.
Other: One of her favorite pranks is the 'bucket above the door' prank. When the poor, unsuspecting victim opens the door, the bucket will tip over and fall on their head. It's normally filled with water, flour or whatever substance she finds.

Penny left a while ago... But it's been hard to really do much. I've had this awful headache for the past few days- everything's kind of fuzzy. I really wish I could've done something. I don't know what, but something. I just feel so helpless, y'know? I'm not supposed to be out of my room, but here I am. Sneaking around. Well, looking actually. Looking for Nina. I heard from Serene tha she had to go do something real quick... But I can't remember what. That was two days ago... She's still not back, but the Guardians say not to worry about it. That's all they ever seem to say. It's like they don't even care! I get so mad at them sometimes! Nothing EVER goes right anymore! I don't know what's wrong with me. But they all just treat me like I've got some terrible disease. Anyway, Thomas has been watching over the other kid Nina's supposed to be caring for, who I recently found out is named Skyler. Sometimes Tom has her stay in my room, because mine's pretty big and all, because it's easier for him. That's okay, but Skyler gets annoying sometimes with all the pranks and stuff. And it doesn't help this STUPID HEADACHE!!! UGH! I can't sleep, I can't do anything! IT'S AWFUL! AND IT'S NEVER GONNA END!!! UGHHHH!!!!! But they're going to be promoting some more people into Guardians, so I guess we'll have some more people to cover for Nina. I just don't know what's been going on with her! It's like she's a whole different person. I was talking to Skyler earlier, and we discussed what could have happened... I'm starting to think she's right.

Me: So. What's up with Nina? She's not here... STILL!

SKyler: Um, I don't know.

Me: She's never done this before.

Skyler: Oh reeeeeally?

Me: Come on, this is serious. I'm scared for her.

Skyler: And you think I'm NOT?!

Me: No, just... I dunno. It's weird. Things are bad.

Skyler: Ugh, I KNOW that already!

Me: Yeah, well, what happened to her? You know anything?

Skyler: It's pretty obvious.

Me: What do you mean?

Skyler: Um, well... It's just obvious what happened.

Me: Not to me... Unless you mean that she... Quit?

Skyler: Aaaaand we have a winner! Ding ding ding! It honestly couldn't be more obvious. I mean, it must have gotten boring for her. She gave up on us. I'm too cool, and you're just a lost cause.

Me: Hey!

Skyler: You know it's true.

Me: Yeah, but you don't need to rub it in!

Skyler: So, yeah. She's gone- poof- just like that. Maybe we'll get a cool new Guardian who appreciates the cool part of pranks.
How had I forgotten? Nina always hated Skyler's pranks. She said they were dumb and childish. But that's no reason to just up and leave us!

Me: Maybe...

I also hear that we'll have a Guardian-In-Training care for me for a week... As a sort of trial thing, to see if they're ready. I'm a little excited, but also kind of scared. I've heard stories about GIT's being kind of rude. Wish me luck, lyrics.

Her name's May, and she's pretty nice if what I overhear from other people is true...

That's May. She looks different from real Guardians, because... Well, all GITs look like that. They don't get their harnesses until they graduate into Guardians.

Gender: Female
Personality: Nikola is really into the "emo/punk" clothes style. She dyes her hair, wears spikes, and she loves music. She hangs out on the beach with her friends, but she also likes visiting the boardwalk. She's Czech.
'Nerd Type': (Music freak, computer nerd, art fart, math geek, makeup crazy, etc) "Makeup crazy", but she's also kinda an "Emo Elmo".
Brief History: Nikola is an only child with only her father. She's been almost all around the world, but is happy where she is in Florida. She goes by "Nik", because she likes people to think that she's tough. She likes to surf and is into parkour, but she is definitely not afraid to put on makeup every day.

Since Nina still wasn't here, and Tom was busy, some other Guardian named Ukyo introduced me to May. I felt kinda bad for her, 'cuz she was obviously worried about the person she cares for, Nikola. Poor thing's such a worry-wort... The Guardian, I mean. I already kind of knew her from spying overhearing some of Serene's and Nina's conversations.

Serene: So, um, what's... Up with Ukyo?

Nina: She's okay, I guess.

Serene: Th-that's good. Her um, her... Person? Nicolas? Um, I think? Is she doing... Okay too?

Nina: Dunno. Maybe. And her name's Nikola, by the way.

Serene: Oh. Um, well, I hope that they're doing okay. Ukyo... I don't know. She's kind of... I don't know, um, kinda...

Nina: Fidgety? Worry wort-y? Like... Worried about Nikola?

Serene: Sure, sure.

Nina: You seem upset. Something bugging you?

Serene: ...

Nina: Well?

Serene: No.

Then Serene just kinda stormed off. I guess she's just like that. She needs comforting, and there is something bugging her real bad, but she doesn't want it. It embarrasses her, I think. But you wouldn't know it by how she usually acts, 'cuz she's shy and sweet. Keeps to herself too much... She's planning something, I say!
