Pharaoh turned to a stand selling deer meet, smiling at the nightwing vendor, although deep down he was gagging. Yippee, a nightwing. "How much?" he asked, fishing around in his pouch. He glanced towards the end of the stand, immediately flaring his wings and knocking over several racks of backstrap. "YOU!!!" he thundered at the begging sandwing, flicking his barb towards it. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?"

Everest heard pharaoh raise his voice and he ditched the stand he was at to find him . He landed next to him "what happened " he said then he looked at the dragon in the stand and narrowed his eyes "never mind "

Mesquite / Sandwing / Male
Mesquite watched a couple of Seawings coming his way, holding out a few sapphires. He reached out his hand, elated, before they quickly retracted their hand and walked off laughing. His crest fell, before he quickly resumed his begging position. Then, he spotted Pharaoh. He looked oddly familiar. Wait, was that-? He put his front paws down, getting to his four paws and backing up. His head fell and he flattened his ears, gathering a few curious glances from surrounding dragons as he prepared to flee. This time, he would have to do it on foot.

Pharaoh's tail thrashed and he slammed his talons down on the counter, making some of the meat quiver. "ANSWER MY FREAKING QUESTION!!!" he snapped angrily, the nightwing giving him a wide-eyed stared.

Mesquite's head jolted up, and he felt the urge to reply to this older dragonet before he did something rash. "I super don't know I was just looking at this... meat and then you came and I don't know I'm super sorry please don't hurt me I still have this long life to live and I just got this scar thing and it's super cool I guess but I like my scales okay so please no." he blabbered on quickly, averting his commanding gaze.

Pharaoh relaxed a bit, his talons digging into the wooden stand narrowing his eyes. "Then get out of here, beggar," he snapped, turning back to the frightened nightwing. "THAT!" he snarled, jabbing a claw at the tender backstrap. The nightwing sputtered over and over, tossing him the large slab while Pharaoh fished a moonstone out of his pouch. "Many thanks," he growled, sweeping away.

Mesquite / Sandwing / Male
Mesquite lowered his gaze, watching him leave and then padding up to the merchant. So flabbergasted, the surprised Nightwing practically handed a dry piece over. He promptly took it in his claws, and then so unlike him, he padded after them like a lost puppy-dog with his meat in his mouth.

Pharaoh mumbled to himself, continuing down the streets, oblivious to the fact that the smaller sandwing was tailing after him. He glanced around the stands, looking for anymore cheap meat... He could really go for some nice gila monster! That was his favorite, although it had been hard for the guardians to find, so he hadn't had it very many times.
