The neko GUN looks like one of the bunnies that you can get on the Easter page. is there any particular reason for that?

That's because the bunny was based on that dog c:
All of the token trade-in bunnies are based off existing pet designs. There were two or three exceptions in 2009 (though back then we didn't have a token system, and the pet-inspired bunnies were found in the banners), but other than that, the buns that you get for tokens all look like other pets.
The ones you get for free, however, are completely new designs.

The most recent Chair (Staff) Pets, isn't there a past pet from like 2010 with those colours?

Ah, I can see how that's an easy mistake to make.
With staff pets it can be very important to pay close attention to the colour palette.
The Dusk litter uses a teal/blue-ish colour, which would be impossible for the 2009 staff litter, since its palette was restricted to red and green:

With the exception of the pet's eyes, only colours in this range were allowed to be used, so nothing remotely blue could have popped up.

Mistakes are easy to make, though. Better luck next time!

I've got an idea for the names of the two litters that don't have names yet!
First is: The Lantern litter! Named because of the lantern-like marks on two outcomes.

Bright Lantern---Dim Lantern---Dark Lantern
Second, the Dark Fancy litter! Named for their Dark colors and fancy patterns.

Perk-Eared Fancy---Sun Fancy---Flower Fancy

Don't worry, this is a really slow-moving thread most of the time, as it's not a discussion thread, so it's pretty common to have no replies to posts here. ;3 Mostly people just drop their suggestions for names in the thread and then I go through them all later on when I'm adding new names in for the dogs of the past month or two, along with the posts in the monthly discussion threads. For those two litters you posted on, they did seem to have specific references used for the litters in the discussion threads and the litter names will most likely be based on that (probably Star-eyed and Velvet, respectively), but they're still going to need individual names, so your suggestions might well be used in part for that. :3
