Pinepaw twitches her whiskers in amusement. "Whoa, whoa slow down!" she laughs as she tries to answer his flood of questions. "I don't think we've ever seen huge cats in Stoneclan, but recently there have been a few dog sightings. We eat eagles when we catch them, but we live near the base of the mountain, and eagles like the top." She purrs. "Although I remember one time an eagle decided to investigate the nursery, and Cootrunner was on it so fast it barely had time to blink!" The brown tuxedo tabby smiles at the memory. "I was just a kit then, and Cootrunner was still Cootpaw! Sometimes we have to climb the peak to reach the Mooncave, because it is facing inside the mountain range, not outside." Pinepaw pants slightly after all the talking, licking her lips in an attempt to wet them. "What about you? What's it like in Cloverclan?"

Sparrowpaw listened to the fæ, fascinated. Then he thought for a moment before answering. "Just a plain old forest. Oh, but when I was a kit my mother used to tell me tales of when Fernstar was still deputy, we were called FlameClan. She said that when the past leader Cloverstar died, Fernstar renamed the Clan CloverClan because Cloverstar had saved the whole Clan in a fire. Then apparently StarClan sent the clovers in our camp to grow there to approve of the name change." He mewed, smiling as he remembered the nursery tale every kit was told.

Pinepaw's green eyes light up. "I think I remember Eelmuzzle talking about a Flameclan once!" Her brown striped tail swishes over the clearing's dark grass. To her, the conversation suddenly became awkward- she had no idea what to say, so instead concentrated on the wind rustling through the leaves of an oak tree. An owl hoots, and she twitches faintly at the sudden noise.

Sparrowpaw sighed. The moon was moving on and no doubt Fernstar would notice he was gone soon enough. "I should probably get back to my camp now, but, just in case any of us aren't at the gathering next moon, wanna meet here in two days? Moonrise?" He asked her, fur standing on end with nervousness and paws shuffling uncomfortably.

Pinepaw nods. "Ok! See you then." She looks over her shoulder at the pine forest marking the Stoneclan territory, then nods a quick goodbye to Sparrowpaw before dashing into the darkness.

Sparrowpaw watched her leave, paws tingling with a new excitement. He then turned around and vanished into the darkness, dashing through the bushes and into the CloverClan forest.

The brown tabby tuxedo pads into the area slowly, her green eyes reflecting the sky's light. "Greywing? Are you here?" she mewed cautiously. The gathering was the last place she had seen her mentor besides camp, and she knew that Stoneclan's deputy wasn't in camp. Lifting her muzzle into the sky, she tried in vain to catch a wiff of the shecat in question.

They soon were at the gathering place and in a mysterious way Berrypaw arrived here first."Pinepaw?Is that you?"She asked seeing a shape that looked like the apprentice.

Pinepaw pricks her ears at the voice. It sounded like.. "Berrypaw?" She padded closer to the shecat. "Is that you? What are you doing here?" Surely they can't be looking for Greywing, too?
