Well after about 4 to 4 1/2 straight hours of drawing I got Macaiger's fursuit ref done and sent out for a quote x3 I haven't recieved the quote back yet, but it'll probably come later today and i'm so anxious. I finally got a new job(thank you Krispy Kreme) and with it enough money to get a nice fursuit, and the maker I was looking at opened the same day!

How do you feel about people PMing/Noting you to ask if any of your characters are for sale?
Since i'm usually willing to sell/trade most of mine I don't really mind it, but most of the time I have to decline anyways since I don't take CS pets as payment, only USD and sometimes art/character trades.

How would you want someone to note/PM you? e.g. a polite inquiry? Right to the point? Conversation before question? etc.
Polite inquiry is always the way to go in my opinion. Ex. "Hi there! I noticed that you have a lot of beautiful characters and I was wondering if you'd be willing to sell any of them? I understand if not and thank you for your time!"

How do you usually response if/when people do ask you about it?
I always try to be polite about it, like "I'm glad you like my characters! *insert name* is indeed for sale, but i'm currently only taking USD offers over on my FA account right now."

When looking at characters that are up for sale, which do you prefer: a character site/profile or a stash group?
Why do you prefer this way?
Any tips for someone looking to sell characters?

A sta.sh group is best for me. No hundreds of characters in drop-down menus to click on. I can see the design enough in thumbnail preview to know if I want to look at it further or not, and it's easy to add in all their art. Not to mention it's so easy/fast to upload stuff.

For tips - Advertise. Make a thread, post here, DA journal, DA groups, FA, etc. I've sold a lot of characters/adopts this way.

its the first design of my species I'll be doing as i try to save for something! note the tail is always supposed to be kinda bent like that
These lines will not be used again, note there are several traits that arent as common in the species used in the design
Can be traded/resold when bought but for no more than you paid

also offering multiple myo slots of them (can make lines for you if you cant, or you can draw your own) for whoever will give me 2500 points/$25 for somethin i want. with cool traits if you want! pm about species info and such if you have potential interest but want to know more about what traits they can have.
Individual slots vary price wise, i guess offer? At least 500 points/$5 would be nice, can list traits if interested

Another person dropped out of a character sale ;0; I'm getting really downtrodden by this, but I still really need to shift these characters to pay Karma back, pay off a charrie and continue on the Soosh MYO slot grind.
Characters up for sale include my Bamharr, who has over $100 worth of art and is super reduced, a couple of Astralines, including the majorly edited Aquarius Major Horoscope babe, my new starsweet ;0;, and even my edited Kintaur who is up for trades. I have a character on hold I wanna buy im an awful person I know so I need these guys to go today...
Anyway they're all up for points or USD on dA. Either is good. Help.
