Halcyon is a retired spy, and now spends all of his time high in the mountains in a remote cabin. He does all of his own hunting and fishing, grows his own vegetables, and generally doesn't do much beyond that and craft violins. He keeps to himself and expects the world to leave him alone. He's been known to be quite hostile towards outsiders, but due to his past, he has a shaky sense of trust in anyone and expects the worst of them.
Not much is known about Raison. He wanders from place to place, looking for someone or something; whatever it is, no one's sure. And no one's willing to ask since he's always toting around a big shotgun. When he opens his mouth, all that comes out is static. He doesn't seem to understand English; in fact, he only seems to understand binary.
Gayle fancies himself a second generator chef, but prefers the growing side of it all. He spends most of his time gardening instead of cooking. Raisha's nothing but supportive, even if he wishes his son were more into his craft.
Holux works as a bartender but would honestly rather be gaming than doing anything else. His dream is to become a major league gamer. He's been on MLG teams once or twice, but couldn't afford to keep it up. He's just hoping to work up enough money to pursue his dreams at this point.
Calchas was saved as a child by a demigod in the swamp his parents inhabited. The demigod did so under one condition: Calchas would be his new apprentice and some day would replace him. Over the course of his life he ended up finding love and even having two children with his ex-husband. The older he got, the more powerful he became and the less time he had with his family. Trying to fight his fate, he tried to defy the demigod. As a result, it killed his first born son: Flayeux. (But made it seem like Calchas himself did it.)
Years later the demigod died finally, and he was forced to take its place. In the process of the god dying, it killed everything on the island he and his extended family and loved ones lived on. He was reborn in a new form: a makoalt, and he raised his loved ones with his new found powers. His husband divorced him, calling it the last straw, and now he's more or less all on his own. He has the ability to give and take away life. When he uses his powers, he looks like this.

Kain comes from humble beginnings. He was born with global aphasia and it impacted him heavily growing up. Now that he's an adult he's got a handle on it, but it made him an extreme recluse from a young age. He's still fairly antisocial due to it, but his two children and ex-husband definitely helped him overcome it. He developed tritanopy after birth as well, and has grown up colourblind-- not that it means much to him in the grand scheme of things.
He owns a book shop that he lives out of. His children are too old to still live with him, but he has three of them still living: Caecus, and his 'adopted' children: Mjolnir and Godric.
Gaunter has a huge crush on him and he honestly just wants to get away from gods.

Caecus is a huge nerd and the daughter of Kain and Calchas. She loves video games and has been into them since she was a wee baby. She's blind in her right eye and can see spirits through it, thanks to her dad's connection with the dead. Even though Kain's pretty much forbidden it, she still visits Calchas every now and then to make sure he's doing okay. She's a video game designer and has worked on some pretty big projects, but hopes to one day work on a Metal Gear Solid game since that was her favourite growing up.

Mjolnir's very easy going and prefers to spend his time with his adoptive sister than anyone else. He and Cae share an apartment together, as a matter of fact. He plays guitar and spends a lot of time on the beach just relaxing with Godric. He loves his families more than anything and is just an all-around good guy.

Godric is obsessed with the sea and everything within it. He was 'adopted' by Kain (though, since Kain's a family friend of his mothers, he still knows them and is in contact with them) and has enjoyed every minute of being with his siblings and father. He has a spine defect that makes it very hard for him to swim, so he mostly just sits on the beach near his mother's lighthouse and relaxes. He's friends with all of the sirens and mermaids who hang out on the beach-- being intersex and asexual is great because their songs don't quite work on him! They're just lovely finned friends. He takes singing lessons from the sirens but he's actually tone deaf. It's tragic.
