Russetclaw

Russetclaw's ears twitched at the unexpected sound of Galeflurry's voice; the tom was perched atop the Highrock, looking nervous but somehow determined. Interest made Russetclaw's whiskers twitch and he moved along with the others to gather beneath the rock, looking up curiously at Galeflurry.

Blackstorm

The black-and-white tom had been dozing by the warriors den, but blinked his eyes open at the familiar sound of a call for a Clan meeting. He looked up with surprise, half expecting to see Goldenstar addressing them from Highrock but instead saw the gray shape of Galeflurry. "Wonder what this is about?" he muttered to himself, getting to his paws and moving to sit by Cloudheart, who was already waiting for the meeting to start.

She nodded gently, and bounded up on the Highrock beside Galeflurry. The she-cat overviewed her Clanmates from up high, not showing any shame as she puffed out her chest lightly in pride. Then, she cleared her throat and yowled. "Cats of FeatherClan! Galeflurry wishes to tell you all something very important!" Featherpelt said, looking serious now.

Robinfeather purred, pleased. "Great! Look forward to it." Before he could say more, he pricked his ears as Galeflurry called for a meeting. Sitting down beside Whisperingsky and Berryheart, and looked at his sister. "Do you know what's going on?" The Warrior asked, keeping quiet.

The she-cat stood up as she heard Galeflurry calling a meeting. Passing by her new mate with a quick nuzzle, she sat down beside Robinfeather, looking up at the tom and Featherpelt. She blinked when Robinfeather asked her something. "I don't really know. It has Featherpelt involved, so it might be important." Berryheart replied.

Ravenscar heard Galeflurry's call, so she went where the other cats were. She moved her tail with curiosity. I wonder what is this all for.. she thought, sitting and waiting for the other cats.

Galeflurry swallowed and glanced gratefully at Featherpelt. "As all of you know, Goldenstar has passed and gone to Starclan," He started, pouring more confidence into each word. "When Featherpelt was visiting her grave today, she saw a flurry of gales appear over it. She-" He cut off and shook his head. "We believe that it was a sign from her,"

Mapleheart joins the other cats ((pretend this is before he made that announcement)), a pang of jealousy hitting her as she sees the she-cat from earlier up by Galeflurry. You have your kits to worry about, Mapleheart, she chides herself. He's not a kit and you shouldn't be jealous. When Galeflurry mentions something called StarClan and recieving a sign from Goldenstar, - she's then hit a little bit by guilt as she realises that she never noticed the leader was dead - she frowns curiously and makes a mental note to ask him about what they are later.

The tom's ears pricked up at the mention of Goldenstar, and the alleged sign Featherpelt had received from StarClan. Russetclaw's thoughts started racing; could Galeflurry be about to announce he was meant to be the next leader of FeatherClan?

Cloudheart

Cloudheart had come to the same conclusion that Russetclaw had. Is he to be the next new leader of FeatherClan? she wondered. He was a young warrior, Cloudheart thought, never taking her eyes off the tom perched on Highrock; but he was incredibly brave, loyal, and hardworking, as well as compassionate... Cloudheart's eyes drifted over to Mapleheart, noticing the she-cat watching Galeflurry along with the rest of them. Galeflurry had taken the initiative and responsibility of training this pregnant queen in Clan ways as opposed to chasing her out outright. Nodding her head slightly, Cloudheart came to the conclusion that Galeflurry would be a fine leader.

"You all must have came to the same conclusion as us. According to Goldenstar and Starclan, I am to be the next leader of Featherclan," Finally, it was out, and he slowed his swift beating and swallowed, attempting to slow his pounding heart. All of them below him, him above them, it was a new feeling.
